Or possibly he’s just an admirer of murdering dictators like Bashar Assad. You decide. Nevertheless the corrupt weasel at the helm of IAEA told CNN today:

Israel had “no business” bombing Syria and lacks “any evidence at all” that its target was a nuclear facility, the head of the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency said.

Huh?

Guess Mohamed missed all the satellite photos. Of course, he claims the UN is purchasing some of their own now. We’ll wait for “his analysis.” Meanwhile, what’s interesting is that ElBaradei is defending something that even Assad himself isn’t. But then Bashar appears to have problems of his own. [It's Debka! -ed. I know, but this time the details fascinate.]

  1. Of course, if Israel were to wait for the analysis of ElBaradei, it would get wiped off the map.

I saw Hans Blix on Charlie Rose the other night. I guess now he’s an expert on insurgencies and not just WMDs, since he has an opinion about everything Iraq. In the long run it’s best that they speak out, since it makes clearer what boobs they are.

El Baradei & Blix –definitely, definitely birds of a feather. Shepherds from the UN, protecting their little corners of Hell.

  3. 3. Gary Rosen

    Maybe he’s an uninformed liar?

I take it you folks don’t appreciate ElBaradei’s 2005 Nobel peace prize, “for [his] efforts to prevent nuclear energy from being used for military purposes and to ensure that nuclear energy for peaceful purposes is used in the safest possible way?”

  5. 5. Deagle

In this day and age of satellite and internet coverage, I think he is over matched…

when oh when is the US going to send the UN packing? When oh when will these jerkwater ‘international’ organizations going to died a long overdue death?

I love the rhetorical question, “Is El Baradei a liar or uninformed?”

    Nice twist Gary!

The UN now functions to keep the status quo and is the puppet of every dictator. If it has to exist, it should move to Moscow or maybe North Korea. We make it creditable by being in New York and funding a disproportionate share of its budget. Besides, most of the quasi-diplomats just come to have fun in New York. I’ve been to Moscow in January. North Korea would be even better.

I think ‘uninformed liar’ is the definition of ‘disingenuous’ tho I could be wrong.

I just know El Baredi doesn’t like hypothetical questions. I’ve seen him interviewed a few times and he answers questions like “what about that Iranian nuclear bomb?” with “well, I don’t answer hypothetical questions”.

I’d like to ask him, “what if there were no hypothetical questions?”

    But that’s a hypothetical question.

Has it occurred to anyone that perhaps the so called nuclear facility was nothing but a plan to invite an attack from Israel?

I know it sounds crazy, but their hatred against Israel is such that I would expect just about anything.

I can only imagine what it must be like for Israelis living on an interminable red alert.

Jimmy Carter has a Nobel Peace prize, Yasser Arafat has a Nobel Peace prize.

I think that says a lot about the group that awards the Nobel peace prize. It’s not an honor anymore.

Has it occurred to anyone that perhaps the so called nuclear facility was nothing but a plan to invite an attack from Israel?

Lem, the scuttlebutt I’m reading says that the Israelites had either commando or spies (or maybe both) obtain physical evidence from the target site, and presented it to Washington, before they got Washington’s concurrence to the attack.

So, no, that idea didn’t occur to me.
