I was actually hoping the reports were true. Israel obviously can not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. Sooner or later, Israel will have to bomb Iran. Only a revolution within that country might make it unnecessary.
Just a little OT:
This Debka article draws some asonishing connections, given the aid the US is planning to give the Fatah faction (86 billion). It is Debka, however, never too shy to make the outlandish claim, and I have to think that if the article’s final conclusion – that aid to Fatah will be equivalent to piping money to Al-Qaeda – was true, then the MSM would be all over it. Or would they? Does the MSM even view Al-Qaeda as an enemy? That is probably debatable in itself. If the article is on the money, and aid to Fatah would get into Al-Qaeda’s hands (given the projected Fatah and Al Qaeda alliance), then I certainly hope that Bush and Congress put a stop to the proposed money influx.
