A lot of people know I’m an NBA fan, but even if I wasn’t this story of Sudanese baller Manute Bol on Daily Scorecard would have caught my attention.
Manute …in the paint … but not his family

Roger,
I know there is a weblog that posts video copies
of television shows and interviews.
Do you remember the name of the site or sites? It would be great to post the video of it, it’s pretty good.
This is the very first time I’ve heard about Manute Bol’s courageous actions. Even someone as famous as he is ignored by the MSM if it wonít help their agenda.

Yup it’s an amazing story which Deford was only able to scratch the surface of in his 10-15 minute piece on Real Sports, a good show even if Bryant Gumble is well Bryant Gumble.

Since it sounds like he is still trying to raise $ to help his people, does anyone know where to send him donations?
And just where was Tom Fox when this hero was trying his best to save people’s lives? At least then his death would have been for something!
It’s now posted at the Daily Scorecard what the phone number is to call Bol’s foundation -
The Ring True Foundation
