It seems as if Disney and ABC are the smart ones, being the first out of the gate to make deals with Jobs & Co. to put TV programming on Apple’s sensational new video iPod (yes, I’m buying one instead of the Nano which I had intended to buy a couple of weeks ago – sloth pays!). According to Reuters: Apple faces hard time wooing Hollywood to new iPod. I’m not so sure. Hollywood knows a lot about Jobs and it spells box office.

I don’t see a real wide market for mini-screen movies; the production costs would have to really be low. And Tivo can help you catch up with missed TV shows. Where would you watch these things, on a plane or in a class–that’s about it. Maybe animation…
