… as seen by a fascinating new (at least to me) Saudi blog called Saudi Jeans. Sheryl found this via the ever-witty The Religious Policeman. Check out his latest post on those ever-dangerous Freemasons.
[Didn't you make-up the original title for Scenes from a Mall?-ed. With a little help from Bergman.]

I’ve been reading Saudi Jeans for months. I have a number of Arab/English language blogs on my blogroll, many of which are both excellent (objectively) and very anti-American. Sabbah, in particular, is a very educated Palestinian who lives in Jordan. He is interested in many things, but he a very, well, Palestinian view of Israel and America’s support for it. Worth reading, even if he can make your blood boil.
I read that post. Life on the inside.
I haven’t run into Saudi Jeans before. It’s interesting, and yes, some posts were a bit blood-boiling as TigerHawk says, but reading them helps me to form counter-arguments (once I calm down that is). I do read the Religious Policeman every day and find him to be insightful and witty.
OMG, I’ve got tears rolling down my cheeks from laughing so hard…..read the RP’s takeoff on Barbara Walters interviewing King Abdullah. Hilarious!!
I’ve commented on Saudi Jeans here before. I really enjoy his blog. I love the Religious Policeman’s wit, intelligence, and charm, but there is a bit of arrogance in there that is sometimes hard for me to put aside. Though I didn’t really notice it much until he moved to London.
The world has indeed shrunk to the size of a computer screen.
The interesting thing I learned from the post about Masons was the revelation that they identify themselves to each other using the same secret handshakes as the bruthas on the street corner.
