Just focus on one thing: The Guardian wanted John Kerry to win the presidency. Thatís all you need to know. Kerry and the national Democratic Party are objectively on the side of our enemies.
No mention of the Guardian’s 2004 Piece de Resistance — the great Clark County, Ohio mail in which probably sealed Bush’s re-election by causing Clark Co. to go Republican the first time in recorded history.
And while most of the comments directed to me were about America’s responsibility to right the wrongs done to the Palestinians, some in the audience picked up my challenge to recognize that the United States could help the Palestinians only if they were prepared to fulfill their obligations, particularly on security. Indeed, when I declared that there would be no Palestinian state born of violence — with the leading proponents of that violence sitting there — several Palestinians responded by saying that violence was a mistake and nothing would be achieved by it.
You are grasping at straws. Just because a few people are willing to not be totally deluded, doesn’t mean that the Palestinians understand that violence is not the answer to their problem. Also, just remember who Dennis Ross worked for. Did he accomplish anything positive in all the time he was the US Middle East envoy?

I suspect that the above comments were mistakenly placed on the wrong thread. Nonetheless, it is fair to describe Dennis Ross as a man who made things far worse. The not so subtle message sent to the self pitying and whiny Palestinians was that they are victims of Western imperialism. How can you blame them? In some ways, terrorist acts are justified. Ross and his cohorts listened to quasi-Marxists like Edward Said and ignored the wisdom of Bernard Lewis.

It is a mistake to think that the Guardian is a publication,it is not,it is a Socialists in Crisis Encounter Group.Containing them in the same publication releases the pressure and prevents them from going around spraying their demented thoughts on lavatory walls.

Our countries both share a similar conundrum,what to do with the over-educated scions of the upper middle classes.They went to good schools,good universties,have the money and the networks of their parents behind them,but they desperately wish to be proletarians.Not in the sense of getting their hands dirty,you understand,but somewhere where all that education and compassion could be put to good use and so “journalism” was born.This allowed them the vicarious thrill of being marxist revolutionaries,without the guns and the blood,leaving them free for dinner parties and three hour lunches.
