Blogging Europe

December 22, 2004 - 8:21 am - by Roger L Simon

Denis Boyles (who else?) has an excellent roundup of the best Euroblogs of this year (scroll down). Several of my favorites are there, plus some I didn’t know. Will now.

UPDATE: Not that it is a blog, regarding Europe, I had missed Chris Caldwell’s superb analysis of the situation in Holland. (hat tip: Sheryl)

In regard to Chris Caldwell’s piece, which I found emensely informative, we seem to keep coming back to how do you handle a jihadist that believes he will go to heaven if killed in God’s duty ? You tell him he is misguided.

Bottom line, the Pope has said there is no sex in heaven. Since the God of Islam is the same God of the Jews and of Christians, I would expect jihadist get the same reception as the Pope’s flock. This would lead one to believe that jihadists that get to heaven must be really bummed out.
