Buenos Noches from the Big Apple

Don’t tell my cardiologist, but I just returned from two consecutive meat dinners filled with bloggers (around the table, not on it) — the second of which was a Brazilian churrascaria. I hoofed it back to my hotel to do what little I could to walk it off.

Happiest faces on the streets of New York tonight — the police. One word explanation for this — overtime. Last ones to leave the demonstration — the Falun Gong again. Go figure. The bad news — I’m told Internet at the convention are dodgy. Please be patient. Hasta pronto!

Doesn’t blogging clean out the arteries? Great pictures from earlier in the day and thanks for the perspective of some of New York’s finest.

Didja ever notice how every coffee bar in the country can set up a wireless hub, but the two main political parties in the country are helpless? Another proof of the superiority of the private sector over big gummint…

Yummy! Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you enjoyed the bloggers too and thanks for the great pictures…forgot to mention that.

New York is absolutely great for walking! But you have to walk fast. I mean fast. Otherwise the natives know you’re just visiting. And never look up! That marks you as a tourist for sure!

Unless you want to be marked as a tourist, of course.

The Falun Dafa/Gong has been out every day for a few weeks now it seems. They’re very persistant. I wonder how they’re funded — living here and handing out flyers on the corner isn’t cheap…

    … but you didn’t post a link to the churrascaria’s blog …

Is this true? (I ask because it’s a Drudge link.) Kerry’s daughters were booed at the MTV Awards?!?

Kerry’s daughters were booed? Sheesh, *I* wouldn’t have booed them.

Barry Dauphin ó I don’t know about the arteries, but it’s great for the bile ducts, according to some sites I’ve seen…
