… or at least get him some free tickets to the new Kobe/Vlade Lakers… for making his Spirit of America what the Oil-for-Food sandal-ridden United Nations can’t be… transparent. Unlike Don Kofi on 44th Street, if you donate to Spirit of America, Jim is making sure you know where your money is going.
(for a photo of Hake, scroll down at the Laker link above)

Jim Hake is what every American should be thankful!
Energy, a can-do-attitude, humility and the spirit of giving to those in need are American virtues, not forgotten nor lost. God bless him. Never doubt, even your in the darkest moments, America is the light of the world. Though others may decry and loathe us, The Great Colossus stands forthrightly and triumphantly to comfort us and the world reminding us unfalteringly: I lift my lamp beside the golden door!
Drum rolls please!
I made it. It took the assistance of a very nice and patient man but I am here.
I have given some help to Spirit of America and I agree it would be nice if Kofi were half as dedicated.
But I am not holding my breath. I think Kofi will be every bit as helpful to the people of Darfur as he has been the people of Iraq. At least in the case of Sudan there is no oil for genocide program he and his compadres can take advantage of.
Maybe the Spirit of America could open up a branch in Africa.
Heh… Anyone else notice that all the Google ads that got chosen for this particular post all seem to be pointing to places like Discount Moonbat Supply and Anti-Globo-Mart? For example:
Peace Flags, Earth Flags
Peace, Earth, U.N. Flags and more! Sales benefit progressive causes.

ÔøΩHeh… Anyone else notice that all the Google ads that got chosen for this particular post all seem to be pointing to places like Discount Moonbat Supply and Anti-Globo-Mart?ÔøΩ
ThatÔøΩs a very good point. Please understand that Google is almost certainly charging money for the ads and not acting altruistically. Who is paying for them? Are they truly meant to turn a profit? Why is the silence deafening concerning George Soros and other like-minded wealthy radical liberals? There is no doubt in my mind but that the liberal media would be having a field day if a conservative counterpart to Soros was similarly helping the Bush campaign. I will leave everyone with a disturbing question: when is the last time youÔøΩve even heard Soros mentioned by the major media? Did the Martians abduct him?
I think I should add a few other comments regarding George Soros. We know that this man is vastly wealthy. Soros also has a proven track record of spending huge amounts of his own personal fortune on the causes he believes in. Does it therefore seem reasonable to assume that he is probably spending at least $50,000,000 of his own money to destroy George W. Bush? If that is indeed the case, who is getting this dough? How many liberal intellectuals are receiving funds from Soros? How about blogs? Who is paying for the Google ads? Do they truly pay for themselves? Are some journalists ìearningî money from Soros by giving talks at seminars funded by him?
…sandal-ridden…
Hmmmm!
D Anghelone beat me to it!
“Oil-for-Food sandal-ridden United Nations” is disturbingly amusing typo. Roger, don’t fix it.
