Termination of Employee USAPOTUS0044\
Kevin Williamson shares a performance review from the Human Resources of The Firm U.S.A., Ltd., regarding employee USAPOTUS0044\, Barack Obama. It is not a flattering report. In fact, he recommends non renewal of the original 4-year contract. Some highlights (or perhaps I mean “lowlights”):
* Deliverable 1: National Security. This is the key deliverable for your role in our organization. Failure here is critical, and, while there will be inevitable setbacks and unforeseen developments, your performance here has been substandard. While I have frequently recommended to the management a more restrained policy on overseas matters — a position you endorsed during your interview process — you have managed to combine the worst aspects of your predecessor with the worst aspects of the opposing view. For example, you used the firm’s military and diplomatic pressure in service to what I think we can agree turned out to be the wrong side in Egypt and Libya, and your deployment of military assets to Uganda and the Congo is, in my view, a proposition with zero profit opportunities for the firm, horrific as that conflict is.
On the other hand, an attack on the firm’s representatives in Libya is an attack on the firm itself, i.e., precisely the time for using military force, and, more important, for taking proactive steps to prevent it in the first place — especially when such steps have been specifically requested. You don’t sit around in the executive suite and watch it happen while doing nothing — and you don’t run off to Vegas on the company jet afterward, either.
* Deliverable 2: Public Safety. Under your management, violent crime is up 18 percent — the first such increase in 20 years. Your “Fast and Furious” project has caused serious damage to the balance sheet: one dead federal officer, more than a hundred dead civilians, a seriously cheesed-off next-door business partner, and zero cartel convictions — the lattermost being, if I understand your business strategy, the whole point of this mess.
* Deliverable 3: Energy. When interviewing for this position, you said, and I quote, “We could have headed off $4-a-gallon gas.” We’ve seen gas prices above or near $4 for most of your term, and above $5 in some parts of the country under the management of your associates.

Kevin adds this personal note: “the first time I ever had to fire anybody, I felt really bad about it. She was a nice young woman in her first real job, courteous, well-liked, always on time, and eager to do a good job. She had, unfortunately, been hired for a position that required more than her talents and experience enabled her to deliver. This is also true of you, with the exception of being courteous, likable, and punctual. If I could, I would fire you twice.”
I think a lot of us are starting to feel that way.

Ok that was good and I especially liked the line “If I could I’d fire you twice”.
Let me paraphrase Peggy Noonan here as she describes Obama:
“A man in a new job who proved to be in over his head, out of his depth, and worst of all, completely oblivious to that reality.”
I’d have to fire myself for being stupid enough to put him in a position of responsibility.
So this is a moot point.
Technically, he’s President Pro Tem, a spacer between tiles.
amidst all the accusatory remarks made by the writers ,not affiliated with the MSM gaggle, regarding libya,Egypt most recently Benghazi,it is amazing how outwardly OB seems to be so unaffected.Even with the deaths of the four brave men at the terror scene there. He must be totally, mentally deficient;hardly the guy you want in charge
When you gave the dreams and plans of an Obama for the international scene, sometimes, well, you gave to allow some eggs to get broken if you are going to make an omelet.
The important thing is to retain the trust of the Muslim world, don’t you know, so we can make this world one. We simply will have to accept, at the noise level, the deaths of Americans if the alternative is disrupting forward progress.
“I think a lot of us are starting to feel that way.” Starting? Really?
Unfortunately, HR Mgr Mr Williamson seems a bit out of step in this post-modern world. I do not see the appropriate paper trail leading up to this dismissal, which [nowadays] would include (*): letters of warnings & sitdowns with the employee (and in his personnel file); an escalation process (employees x, you will meet these objectives over this time period…); and the closure of mum’s the word after he’s been ‘separated’, so as to protect us from being sued.
Some other thoughts: have we considered the obligatory separation package (his COLBRA – in his case, healthcare for life I presume; his severance package; his no-compete clause; his use of company vehicles and other perks); will liabilities & obligations he brought on go with him or stay with us?
I do agree, we need to get this guy out of the company, he’s corrosive to the entire organization.
* Congress did not (and has abdicating duty) by not considering serious consequences for Fast & Furious, misappropriation of treasury funds, and Libya [to name a few].
“Termination”?
I denounce your violent, eliminationist rhetoric.
I have reported you to the Secret SerVICE and the Inconvenient Filmakers Probation Violation Collection Squad. Be prepared for an extended stay at their hostel.
Also, racist.
Supervisor Kevin better start watching his own rear end. Firing this young man, no matter how dumb, lazy or incompetent, will cause dangerously low grades on Kevin’s own performance evaluation in the section, “understands and implements total organizational irrational concerns for diversity.”
He’d never get that recommendation past the Diversity Compliance Committee. You’ve got one minority employee and you want to fire him, heck you want to fire him twice, that will never fly. In fact, Kevin Williamson would be terminated after several failed sessions of “sensitivity training”.
the premise is flawed, because obama would not have been hired unless someone in human resources lost his education and work history file.
Were you paying attention in 2008? They DID misplace his education and work history file.
But I agree with other posters here – no way are you going to terminate this minority employee, especially when there are allegations of racial bias. And if he’s smart, he’ll come out of the closet as gay. And for all I know, 1/32 Cherokee as well. Further, he had an absentee father.
So we all owe this young man. Fire him? We should kneel and ask his forgiveness!
Really? I think dressing up like Darth Vader for a SciFi convention to show your support for George Lucas and fandom of the film and/or specific character is very much the same. You are just fans of different things: athletics, arts…apples and oranges, but both fruit.
Now who can argue with that? I think we’re all indebted to Gabby Johnson for clearly stating what needed to be said. I’m particularly glad that these lovely children were here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age.
