“Fundamentally Transforming the United States of America”: an update
Regular readers of Roger’s Rules know how fond I am of quoting President Obama’s declaration to his followers, toward the end of October 2008, that he was only a few days away from “fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”
I say “fond” not to indicate affection but frequency: I regard Obama’s statement as at once one of the most honest and most frightening things he has said. Obama may be an expert prevaricator; he may have been essentially less than candid with the American people (remember all those promises — promises — that he wouldn’t raise taxes on any family making less than $250,000 a year?). But the true Obama keeps peeking out. He’s going to “spread the wealth around,” remember, he faulted the Supreme Court for not venturing into issues of “redistribution of wealth” and not “breaking free” from some “essential constraints” placed upon politicians by “the Founding Fathers and the Constitution.” And he also, as I keep reminding you, promised to “fundamentally transform the Untied States of America.”
To help you think about some of what that would mean, take a look at this sobering discussion between Jerry Gordon, senior editor at the New English Review, and the historian and author Richard L. Rubenstein, a contributor to the New English Review (thanks to my friend Roger L. Simon for bringing this to my attention). Dr. Rubenstein is a soft-spoken and measured commentator. But though he speaks quietly and makes his points in a sober, understated way, what he says is dynamite. Obama, he points out, is a “revolutionary” figure who is aiming to transform the “American political system and economic system” and America’s relationship to the rest of the world. He is suspicious of Europe, contemptuous of Great Britain, and hostile to Israel. In his obsequious behavior to the King of Saudi Arabia, he has underscored his deep filiation with the Muslim world. He aims, in short, for “radical transformation. He is the most radical President America has ever had.” Depressing, but necessary, viewing for this summer Sunday.

If it’s not clear that the Constitution was designed to prevent the U.S. government from acquiring the power to “fundamentally transform” the country, then nothing is clear.
B.O. obliquely acknowledges this when he regrets the constitutional restraints.
It seems to follow that a series of amendments would be required to accomplish his ambitions, yet nothing is heard of following the laborious provisions of Article V.
So much for the rule of law. But what the hell, progressive legal theorists have demonstrated that this is a fiction anyway.
Well, what’s to say? The man is speaking the truth.
Thank you for the video. Professor Rubenstein is spot on.
Come November we are going to fundamentally transform this clown back into a ghetto
hustler who will have a hard time getting elected to the Detroit City Board of
Education
A chilling articulation of the truth. God help us!
I really like this man. He is fluent and very well versed in his knowledge of Obama and Islam.
It would be nice to have a longer interview with him on the same subject on “Meet the Press” or “PJTV”. Any MSM org. would do well to interview the man.
The people have to know the truth about the man who holds the reins of power in the world. He is an extremely dangerous figure.
His longer speech will be published in the July edition of New English Review. It was a privilege to hear him.
It is submitted that the majority of the American people and the “power behind the scenes” appointed President Obama
to effect revolutionary change , in accordance with George Soros’s obsession to destroy American ” hegemony ” ( see Soros’s book “The Bubble of Anerican Supremacy ” ).
What has been sown will be reaped .
ELI ! ELI ! LAMA SABACHTANI?

Dr. Rubenstein may be a “soft-spoken and measured commentator” but that doesn’t preclude his speech stretching the limits of credulity. (I refer you to Der Totesengel Josef Mengele, another “doctor” of soft-spoken and measured mien).
Although of impressive academic achievement and education, Dr. Rubenstein, like many other educators of his kith and kin (I almost said “ilk” but that’s too unkind a word), wanders far afield from his specialties and comes out with conclusions that question his grasp of the subject matter he discusses and are, ‘au fond’ and ‘au moins’, irresponsible.
For one thing, I doubt Inkosi Obama is any more “radical” than Kennedy or Johnson were in their ultimate effect on America: not -even -close.
What Inkosi Obama really meant by stating he wants to “fundamentally transform” America is yet to be seen, if it means anything at all (I doubt it does – although I wish it would, I might add).
But when Rubenstein states that Inkosi Obama is an enemy of Israel and implies he is obsequious to the Saudi monarch (PBUH) and is, to top it off, soft on Islam, well, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Although I would love to get into the purported “Moslem affiliation” of the President, this is getting way too long and I’ll have to leave you with these quotes from Inkosi Obama’s speech to AIPAC in which he said:
” “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel and it must remain undivided,” Obama told the vast annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Council (AIPAC).
Addressing the group in almost his first act since claiming the Democratic nomination late Tuesday, Obama said he was a “true friend” of Israel and that the US bond with the Jewish state was “unbreakable.”
Explain that!

# 9- You are one weird dude.
“We the People” are beginning to see the brilliance and farsightedness of the Founding Fathers through the constraints on governance prescribed in the Constitution.
OBAMA, as revolutionary, is challenging the precepts and values of the philosophy that have made the United States the protector of individual rights, liberty and freedom.
His agenda, to date, has successfully assaulted the liberty of the individual and made it clear that not only does he have a redistribution of wealth design in mind but also a hunger to consolidate power into his own hands (aka Executive Branch as we now know it).
OBAMA’s attacks on the institutions of the Republic, at the moment, can only be thwarted through an organized citizen outcry at the polls in November. He and his minions have brilliantly instituted a political game of crisis creation and continue to push the thoughtful restraints of the Constitution.
To identify OBAMA as just a liberal Democrat one must also consider Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro as members of the same political persuasion. The legislation being forced on “We the People” by OBAMA and the sitting Congress is contrary to the core beliefs of individual freedoms protected by the Constitution. Hence, those that support OBAMA’s agenda must be voted out of office to protect the Republic from demise.
