Breaking Ranks! Biden Wants Speakers on All Sides to Be Able to Address College Campuses

Former Vice President Joe Biden is tired of people citing the First Amendment only when it applies to them. He thinks that, rather than having Antifa create violence every time a conservative speaks on a college campus, “you should be able to listen to another point of view.” Acknowledging that his viewpoint was not popular among his fellow Democrats and left-wingers, Biden argued that “what we do is we hurt ourselves badly when we don’t allow this speech to take place.” He said the tables could easily be turned. “When I was coming up in college and in graduate school, free speech was a big issue but it was the opposite. It was liberals who were shouted down when they spoke. And liberals have very short memories.” This statement, which should not be so unique, is quite refreshing to hear from a liberal lion like Biden.
