It is Sabbath eve, I am about to get ready to joyfully receive the Sabbath and along with it, many wonderful guests. And yet–it is war-time, and someone like me is always on duty. President Obama’s every move towards the Islamic world seems inevitable, given his Harvard and Chicago background, perhaps open-hearted and creative–and yet his is a dangerous and naieve game.
Last night, the President was quite at his ease on the Jay Leno show. I understand that members of his generation view such appearances as more “real” than reality itself. And yet–he did not get elected to be a talk show host; charming us, (and he is charming), will not solve a single major problem. We are in economic free fall and our President seeks to divert us, calm us, by trading jokes with a comedian-entertainer.
Well, I guess many would say that this is our era’s equivalent to FDR’s Fireside Chats. I am too old-fashioned and too worried to believe that.
And so: Israel’s demonization is now almost complete and Iran’s radically evil and nuclear intention towards the only Jewish state is also quite clear. With small changes made to the UN Durban Two Resolution, who knows? Team Obama might still go to Geneva to further solidify their relationship with the Islamist/Islamic world.
And now, for some more bad news: Judith Weiss, of Kesher Talk, and a leader-member of LiberalHawks, just called my attention to the following. According to Israpundit:

On his current trip to Washington, Ashkenazi sought to meet the administration of President Barack Obama, but most officials were unavailable.
Diplomatic sources said Ashkenazi failed to obtain access to any Cabinet member, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
The Israeli military chief, who sought to discuss the Iranian nuclear threat, won’t even meet his counterpart, Adm. Michael Mullen, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

I noted with particular interest the refusal to let Israel purchase F-22 fighters.
Nothing unusual there. Some people have been trying to kill the F22 here in the US ever since it was on the drawing boards.
It is THE air superiority/air dominance plane of the next few decades. (Barring unforseen developments, of course.)
Therefore all the creeps who think that any form of superiority by America and/or its friends causes war are against it and many other items as well.
OF COURSE it could be used to deliver nukes to Iranian sites if the need arose. That is why Israel ought to have it. Crap! What is it about the Beltway/Foggy Bottom atmosphere that atrophies brain cells so drastically.
Before Israel was created, there was an embargo on arms to the Middle East. Israel could get weapons from Czechoslovakia at the time of its creation—obviously with the permission of the USSR. The embargo lasted all through the Eisenhower administration. In 1955r, after the Bandung Conference, Russia was part of the Marxist-Islamic Alliance and Czechoslovakia stopped selling arms. In 1956, the Us and the USSR joined forces to compel Israel, France, and Britain to surrender everything they had conquered in the Suez War. At that time, Israel relied on France because of a deal made by Shimon Peres. After De Gaulle came to power, relations with France soured. Once Kennedy was inaugurated, the US ended its arms embargo. Bit by bit, Israel became a closer ally of the US. There were some zigzags, especially under Old Bush the 41st President, who wouldn’t let Israel retaliate against Iraqi SCUD missiles. If the friendship with the US ends (I hope not, and I think that almost all Democratic Senators are pro-Israel), I don’t know what Israel could do about buying weapons. After all, it is the most hated nation on earth.
Obama is rapidly exceeding Jimmy the paid off Saudi Stooge and Klan acolyte Carter as the worst, most cowardly President in our nation’s history. What is worse is that he is not only taking Israel down, but he’s destroying our country too.
Israel will need to go it alone against Iran, and when she does so, will have to stand up to this worthless piece of shit whom 52 percent of brain dead Americans and 78% of Jews (who from now on can never complain about why the Germans voted in Hitler) voted for. If that happens, we need to mobilize and tell all Democrats to expect a loss of seats and impeachment proceedings to begin. We let Israel down, we will go down too because this shit hates Western values and loves anything anti-America.
My prediction is that the Late Night talk circuit is about to be short circuited. Obama cannot “perform” without a teleprompter. He is given to insulting gaffes. And what he says under the glare of the camera…. will live on in infamy.
The Leno appearance this week may have been “charming” to some. But it also resulted in a serious “foot in mouth” incident. Mr. Obama joked about Special Olympics and “water heads” like an adolescent jerk. That is simply NOT funny. And he can’t “retract” it. It’s out there … and Sarah Palin is already making the best of Obama’s ignorance.
I’ll give him four years.

he is releasing enemy combatants into the united states that no other nation will take. his ridiculous cartoon economic plan will impoverish us. he still has no jobs now plan, no loosening of credit, or regulation over usurious interest rates and barriers to the start up or continuation of small, yet essential, mom and pop businesses. he has devised no regulation on usurious interest rates and capricious bankers. in short, he has done nothing to stabilize the middle class or keep us from falling into real poverty.

when we consider what israel means to america, what it has meant to be an american, a true american, consider this: we are all jews now.

That all depends on how one defines “pro-Israel.” Never forget that the members of J-Street also consider themselves to be favorable toward Israel! No, a few questions must be asked. Do you believe that Israel is the victim of Islamic radical intolerance? Or, do you believe that the Israelis are a bunch of white imperialists crapping on the dark skinned Palestinians? I’m convinced that in their heart of hearts, Barack Obama and a number of Democratic Party elected officials subconsciously, if not even consciously, hold the latter view. This is also true regarding a few “moderate” Republicans.
There is also too much attention given to good intentions. This simply isn’t good enough. Bill Clinton, for instance, most assuredly meant well—but his naïve policies resulted in the deaths of countless Israeli Jews.
I have often wandered why American Jews vote overwhelmingly Democrat, and more recently why they voted overwhelmingly for Obama. That Obama would go against Israel, that was clear and expected. The signs were there and as per the pro-Israeli rhetoric of his campaign, it was empty and clearly misleading.
It is after reading “The True Believer” (Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements) that I found the answer. This eternal book written by Eric Hoffer in 1951 states that the Jew, at the present mostly alone and in a hostile world, has become the most autonomous individual, thus the most frustrated, and it is the most frustrated that readily converts to mass movements, that always use “change” and “hope” as their pillars. Add to that that the upper class also tends to convert to these same mass movements, and you can now explain Barbra Streisand, Noam Chomsky, Steven Spielberg, and many other Jews like them. Even Alan Dershowitz, a staunch defender of Israel, I would bet he could not control himself and voted for Obama.

Remember this too, the “Court Jews” like Axelrod, the foul-mouthed fairy Emanuel, and Booby Wexler love anything that Rev. Wright’s “nephew” does. And Scarlett, Natalie and a few other brain dead bimbos too will give him a pass because he’s sooooooo charismatic. Throw in the MJ Rosenbergs, the Jeremy Ben Amis of J Street, the Ira Formans, the Spencer Ackerman, Eric Alterman, Booby Dreyfuss, Glenn Altschuler, Eli Pariser and Max Blumenthal types of the goosestepping Left, and all of the brain dead assimilist types, especially those who looked out of their windows one Tuesday morning in September and saw the New York City skyline on fire, and promptly forgot everything that meant. All of these will give Messiah Chimp and his cronies, even the openly Jew-baiting ones like Miss Power, a pass, even if they were prepared to use American troops to fight Israel – which could very well happened. After all, another Democratic President chose to ignore what Al Qaeda was preparing for us but sent the B-52s to attack and murder Serbs who were never a threat to America or American citizens.
Iran will spit in our faces and continue to support terror, including the murder of US soldiers, but the non-serving cowards, the Messiah Chimp and the arrogant drunk Biden will still appease them and insult Israel and Jews…and the bastards and whores of that 78 percent will still vote for them. Which leads me to believe that if David Duke was a smart fella and said he was a Liberal Democrat, they’d vote for him too.
We Americans had better hope that he screws up very soon, so we can vote in a Republican Congress that will NOT only undo the damage he is already causing, but will Impeach him the first chance they get. Unless of course we want another 9/11 which most assuredly will be nuclear and will be worse because this guy will screw our allies first and kiss the exposed rears of our adversaries. It’s not only Israel, remember, he sent back the Churchill bust too.
And finally – where are all of you sending in your letters and e-mails of outrage over the $900 mil of American Taxpayer dollars he (and that Hillary) propose to send to Gaza? (to Hamas). Remember – it’s as simple as this:

J-Street spends all its energy fighting against Israel. J-Street apparently believes that if Israel gives up on every issue, and that if it loses every battle, the world will love it. Israel is truly alone. Good thing they are tough as nails.
Clinton’s wrong bombing of the Serbs was a reversal of the victories of Poitier in 732 by Charlemagne and the lifting of the siege of Vienna by Charles V in 1529.
He allowed the Islamic fascists to get a hold in there and Kosovo. In Bosnia, the Saudis now built a huge Mosque a give 500 Euros to each woman who wears the long Islamic robe.
The only thing needed was to leave the Serbs alone, these Muslims were traitors to their own race, and as such are despised throughout the Balkans.

Not quite accurate. The U.S. Senate well meaningly votes in a pro-Israeli manner. Once again, that’s just not good enough. This group of elected officials also supported Bill Clinton’s disastrous policies. And subtly, many of today’s’ members of Congress believe that appeasement policies are what’s best for the Israel.
This “well meaning” stuff must cease. If nothing else, it is intellectually lazy. Both Stanley Baldwin and Neville Chamberlain also meant well. How much did that help Great Britain and the Western world? I am getting so cynical. The way we are going somebody will inevitably say that Charles Manson was well meaning because his victims got to heaven quicker.
