Maybe the tyrants decided Kerry is just too tall to fit into their torture cells, and the continued economic crunch doesn’t permit significant expansion. Or, more likely, all the cells are full even as the nationwide ravaging of dissidents continues apace, even to the first violent shutdown of a mosque, this one in Shiraz, associated with Ayatollah Dastgheib, a supporter of Green leader Mir Hossein Mousavi. And in the last few days, regime clerical supporters in Qom tried to demote the standing of Grand Ayatollh Sane’i, the heir to the mantle of the late Grand Ayatollah Montazeri.
Meanwhile, security forces are now killing demonstrators with sawed-off shotguns, the traditional weapon of the Sicilian Mafia, loaded with heavy shot.
In short, the embattled regime is at war with most everyone except the thin sliver of fanatical and/or opportunistic loyalists around Supreme Leader Khamenei and President Ahmadinejad (the latter increasingly absent from major events). And even within that band of torturers, assassins, and terrorists, many of whom have been killing Americans for decades, the tension sometimes explodes, as it did during the recent Ashura demonstrations, when, I have been told, one of his colleagues shot General Ahmadreza Radan (Deputy Police Commander) three times during a heated disagreement.
Not to mention that the Revolutionary Guards are under attack. The regime announced yesterday that 7 security forces had been killed in a shootout with “drug smugglers” in Khorasan Province near the Afghan border. The real number was more than 25, with another dozen or so wounded, and they were gunned down by anti-regime Balouch. The fighting was so intense that the RG had to call in helicopters and then armored vehicles.
So the mullahs aren’t much interested in foreign visitors who want to talk about new departures. It’s not just Americans; they just nixed a long-planned visit from some European parliamentarians (appropriately organized by the Green Party). Seems the Euros actually wanted to talk to dissidents (which was not on Kerry’s agenda). Imagine!
There’s a lesson there about the “talking cure.” Back when Ronald Reagan decided to do everything he could for the Soviet dissidents, American diplomats meeting with their Soviet counterparts always had a list of political prisoners suffering in the Gulag Archipelago; that list was presented at the meetings, along with a request that the prisoners be released. Moreover, support for the dissidents was outspoken at international meetings (George Shultz was especially good at this). The Wall Street Journal recently suggested that we begin to familiarize ourselves with the names of Iranian dissidents, which is all to the good. Here are a few more:
- Heshmatollah Tabarzadi: An engineer, who has already spent seven years in prison. He is secular, not a devout Muslim, but is widely respected on both sides of the religious/secular divide;
- Mashaolah Shamsolwaezin: A journalist and human rights activist who founded several newspapers during Khatami’s presidency;
- Emadedien Baghi: A student of the late Grand Ayatollah Montazeri, He was himself a spiritual figure, but he has abandoned the turban. He was arrested because of an interview on the BBC Farsi servicewith Montazeri.
- Ahmad Qabel: A progressive theologian who nonetheless wants a secular state. He was also a Montazeri student.

If Mr. Mousavi’s #17 statement were ever adopted by the present theofascist regime in Iran, the regime would fall at the very next elections. The regime knows this, so it has to view Mr. Mousavi now as their equivalent of Gorbachov; a loyalist who capsized the entire system in the name of the freeedoms which are already enshrined in their constitution.
Tehran now has Beijing’s problem. How to deal with an indigenous Gorbachov, an esteemed leader with impeccable revolutionary credentials whose idealism demands honoring the freedoms they all fought for in their revolution?
Gorbachov survived. Beijing eliminated Ziyang; house arrest, complete obscurity.
With so much at stake, Mr. Mousavi’s #17 statement appears to have him headed for house arrest at best, assassination at worse.
Mr. Ledeen,
You are really out dated, you think Mashallah Shamsolvaezin, Tabarzadi or others are prisoners?? they are regime elements. you are really out of reality, you even don’t know these clerics. because you don’t know Koran. you are out of reality because you are outsider, stay outside Iran affairs.
Now, let’s see. Either Botox is banned or Kerry wanted to wear his Vietnam medals which wasn’t allowed. Lurch brings nothing else to the party.
Iran Irani..How about you stay out of Iraqi affairs and call for Iran to do the same. It’s fine for Iran to butt into the affairs of other nations such as Israel and Iraq,Syria and Lebanon, but everyone one else should butt out of Iranian affairs.
Kick the Mullahs out and rejoin the international community as partners for peace, freedom and justice.
Then tell us to stay out of your affairs.
We’ll be happy to.
You are really out dated, you think Mashallah Shamsolvaezin, Tabarzadi or others are prisoners?? they are regime elements. you are really out of reality, you even don’t know these clerics. because you don’t know Koran
I can tell you of lots of revolutions who were started by mere reformists then escaped control of those who initiated them and went much farther than they intended.
Let’s hope it goes as far as rejecting the submission to Iran’s seventh century invaders.
May God bless Mr. Ledeen for this invaluable work, and may God also perhaps encourage him to post a bit more often. On our side of this debacle, why is Kerry rather than H. Clinton being put out in front on this? Our Secretary of State’s absence from all important theaters world wide suggests to me that she has either been shut out/down or that she herself has regused to sign on to some of the Administration’s nonsense. Regardless, her invisibility is a bad, bad sign. Who, if anyone, is in charge of American foreign policy?
Mr. Ledeen,
Don’t listen to that Persian Party-Pooper, keep the good information coming. We are witnessing history as this regime falls, with or without Mousavi. How ironic that someone says to “stay outside of Iranian affairs” when Iran has its fingerprints on conflicts all over the region!
Get ready for a very interesting 2010.
Looks like Iran Irani is feeling a little heat there Michael, keep up the good work, by all means!
Maybe the swift boat veteran can get an audience with “jenjis con”. What a tool. At least we didn’t elect THIS moron.
Maybe Kerry forgot to send Mahmoud some ketchup…
Oh his wife is still alive and he cann’t get the Heinz’s fortune yet. This Liberal’s story: You marry an ugly rich woman who inherited from a rich conservative dude who conviniently died in an airplane crash and then when she dies, you get all the mula and a younger chick! What a plan!
If the mullahs renounce their ‘divine right’ to rule, does this mean the so called ’12th imam’ won’t be popping out of the well now?
Actually, I’m surprised that Kerry did not obtain permission to go to Iran. He would have been a useful propaganda tool for the mullahs, showing the world that they are “really looking for a peaceful solution” in their confrontation with the West. They could have strung Kerry for days, maybe even weeks, promising “cooperation” and “negotiations” in order to buy time for the mullahs to come one step closer to obtaining nuclear weapons. Kerry, who really is a fool, would gladly have gone along with this, especially if it kept his name and face in the news. After all, there’s no such thing as “bad” publicity, even if it means associating with homicidal mullahs, right Mr. Kerry? So with a willing dupe like John Kerry and president like Obama, who would take any “peace” agreement he could get if it ment not having to actually confront Iran militarily, I’m surprised the Iranians didn’t go for it. Things must really be bad inside Iran right now if the mullahs are afraid of a jerk like Kerry. Could you imagine how much easier it would be to overthrow the mullahs if Western news organizations were in Iran right now, as they were just before the Shah fell?
This starts off as a pretty serious piece of work but then just dives into fantasy in a way that is totally unexpected for this site. Can you imagine the jews submitting a petition to Hitler demanding the right to assemble? This sounds so out-of-touch with any reality that it is hard to comment. I will say that the problem we have is that our government and our industrial base still have no problem with monetary transactions aside tyrannical regimes. Is GE still trading over there? Since we don’t seem to have a basis for determining which regimes are enemies of freedom, I’d like to offer three. No asistance of ANY kind for a regime that will not embrace fully 1) Our First Amendment, 2) Second Amendment, and 3) Article I section 2 (taxmen live 2 years!) http://www.usconstitution.net/const.html#A1Sec2
Fighting tyranny requires that their supporters (active or passive) must live under their rules without our aid or trade! Let them sink their people into the mud first!
Why doesn’t President Obama send LaToya Jackson? She will be just as effective as John Kerry. She can even sing “Thriller” at the Mullah’s request.
Iran Irani: Are you trying to pretend you’re some under-educated flunky of the Islamic Mullah dictatorship with poor English skills who stumbled onto this PM website and is being funny? Or are you actually some under-educated flunky of the Islamic Mullah dictatorship with poor English skills who stumbled onto this PM website? Either way, very funny. If the latter, and you truly read the Koran, you’d be ashamed of your ignorance and your sick government.
Oh, and we’ll stay out of Iran(ian) affairs once Iran stops exporting terrorism.
Now get back to your english lessons.
Iran Irani,
It’s tough to stay ‘outside Iran affairs’ nor completely understand ‘Iran affairs’ due to Iran being run/ controlled by totalitarians and the world is looking on in disgust.
Tabarzadi and Shamsolvaezin ARE in custody. They have been for a week. ‘Regime elements’. Iran is CONTROLLED by a regime. You can’t be that dense..
The Koran..
Heck, your ilk make door-to-door Latter Day Saints a gift to engage discussion with!
Lastly, your English, though spelled correctly, is atrocious.
The Koran? the Koran IS the problem. Oh, the Koran justyfying murder of “infidels” makes it right. Or “Kafirs”? And you can lie to non moslems to justify the spread of Islam? Islam sucks and will die in flames when the world awakens to its evil. And trust me, the world will. Given a choice, who do you really think Red China will side with? These so-called “clerics” in Islam know as much about “allah” as poster number two seems to know. Take your gutter ideology and stick it.
John Kerry is quite lucky to have been denied his visit, which was a no-win proposition in any case. But the internal dynamics of Iran are far more important than the antics of a self-important US senator.
Tyrannies fall only when their opposition is no longer in the grips of fear of repression. We (the West and Israel) are lucky that the Iranian population is finding the guts to challenge the theocracy. But it is not luck alone: We did make a huge investment in Iraq, opening the door to responsible governance, which is no longer a highly abstract concept far beyond the political horizon. The image of GWB’s initiative (and follow-through) has been buried under a heap of opportunistic rethorical fireworks, but its true value stands, and with it the counter-revolution in Persia.
I suppose those who have fought in Iraq see this more clearly than the rest of us.
Now if only we could get that same list passed here.
Mr Iran Irani,
STFU
Well doesn’t Mr. Irani tell all.
Thank you – and welcome to the land of free speech.
#2. “Iran Irani’: Why should Mr. Ledeen, or anyone else, “stay out of Iran affairs”? Iran (Persia) – the mullahs – is trying to interfere in the affairs of other nations with its planned nuclear weapons and its support of terrorists, e.g. Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel.
President Obama and Senator John Kerry (supporter of North Vietnam in the Vietnam war) alas, support the mullahs, dictators and tyrants, against the lovers of liberty, the dissidents in Iran.
why is Kerry rather than H. Clinton being put out in front on this? Our Secretary of State’s absence from all important theaters world wide suggests to me that she has either been shut out/down or that she herself has regused to sign on to some of the Administration’s nonsense. Regardless, her invisibility is a bad, bad sign. Who, if anyone, is in charge of American foreign policy?
drellberg, don’t you think it’s simply politics? Hillary is running for President in 2012 or 2016 and she has some serious advance triangulating to do, and Kerry dreams of replacing her.
firefirefire:
The Mullahs never want to be partners of real peace of the international community, because the Mullahs’s dirty objective is to destruct the Great Satan and wipe out Israel off the map. They sworn to combat the satanic influence everywhere on the earth that since the Ayatollah Khomeini had been declared in 1979, where they murder the Americans more than 30 years, and nevertheless they are very excel at deception where they easily brought Americans on their knees!!!
Jassem Othman, Syrian, Poland.
#2..now wasn’t the Koran that book written by the drunk pedophile? just wondering how you can put any credence in such…just sayin….
Muslims seem to be an angry people, no love, no light, just killing. Hope those 73 virgins are goats Irani..
TG Kerry isn’t going over.
After spending most of the 20th century trying to make the “world safe for democracy”, an endeavor that costs hundreds of thousands of lives and billions and billions of dollars isn’t time for Americans to say enough? Let those who want democracy for all it is worth let them do the dying and spending. Who really gives a c—p about the Iranians and their street demonstrations; a lot of us Americans really do not care anymore; only rich kids like Kerry and his ilk want to save the world. Let them do it but preferably by themselves. Americans should only take care of Americans and let the stupid ones who wish to run around the world saving everyone do it without disturbing the rest of us and let them use their own money; i.e. the Kerry Heinz fortune should be used not the money earned by “Joe the plumber”.
Mr Othman
I were you I would learn Hebrew. You could need it.
#Iran Irani:
I would like to inform you ,I as Moslem, I do NOT believe in your evil Quran! and I am sure that Dr Ledeen is quite aware of the Koranic evil verses despite he is not religions expert. Dr Ledeen is a freedom scholar and an expert in the evil dictatorial regimes, including your regime.
The Iran’s Interior Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar warned opposition activists on Tuesday they risk execution as enemies of Allah and his Messenger if they continue anti-government demonstrations. He stated that “they are waging war against Allah and his Messenger.”

Lets not forget that these cowards have 3 Americans in jail and plan to try them on spying
i think it’s actually five Americans in their clutches, ancona
Marcie:
I born a Muslim, but I do NOT believe in Islam or Muhammad evil traditions, so I have chosen the infidels life and I have NO desire to live with paradise goats
Why shouldn’t one Swiss bank account holder, interact with another Swiss bank account?
The Mullas of the religion of peace have billions in Swiss bank accounts. Kerry, a hater of these United States, and lover of the United Nations should have no problem talking to them.
Right Carter? Right CFR?
Declarations of Iranian freedom? Armed conflicts? Now Iran is getting somewhere.
Mr. Ledeen:
We are indebted to you for your reports about Iran. Thank you! It would do well for the President to read them.
I’m afraid, Mr Irani is right, the mullahcraty has good scenarists for making their booffon opera
Musavi still advocates an islamist republic for Iran, the good guy isn’t that pro westernies, HBZ is his creation, and remember 1983 in Lebanon
they don’t need us, they have a bigger partner, that, even the expat dissident Iranians agitate, China !
Nothing the Obama administration has done has angered me more than their disgraceful, cowardly abandonment of principal in regards to Iran. It is morally reprehensible and a complete abdication of every ideal that this nation stands for.
The very day that the rigged election results were announced, our government needed to stand up and declare the Iranian theocracy illegitimate. We needed to refuse to recognize them to speak on behalf of the Iranian people, announced that A-Jad would be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity if he set foot on American soil. Finally, we needed to do everything that the Iranian despots have (falsely) accused of us doing!
It is shear stupidity and fecklessness for them to have wasted one precious day since the election in pretending that these tyrants could be reasoned with. It’s not too late. We should be employing every form of aid that we can muster in support of the dissidents struggling for freedom. From financial aid, to arms, to medical supplies, to radio and other broadcast media for their voices to be heard and to rally their countrymen to their cause.
The Iranian regime is the single greatest enemy to peace in the world. They are the top enabler of vicious terrorists, they are aggressive antagonists of the enemies of the people of Iraq. They are bellicose enemies of our best ally in the Middle East (Israel) and seeking to become an existential threat to that free and democratic nation. They are the prime supporters of the villains who have wrecked the nation of Lebanon. They are enablers and allies to the Venezuelan bully who is responsible for destabilizing most of South and Central America.
Obama’s pusillanimous appeasement is so much worse than merely a missed opportunity. It is betrayal of everything that we hold dear for ourselves and fervently wish for the people of Iran. The Iranian mullahs and despots are not to trifled with, they are vipers who need to be eradicated, for our own sake, for the sake of the Iranian people and for the sake fo entire world.
two term parallel president john fitzgerald kerry-kennedy visited the syrian president a few years ago and game changed the region.
kerry-kennedy spends most weekends in pokistan personally hunting bin mohammed bin laden. it’s just a short hop for him from his secret operations bases in pokistan and cambodia. this war hero is not one to oursource ops. look for him to earn more battle stars in the near future.
Another Useful Idiot..
All I can say is shame to Senator Kerry and his liberal democrat peers, all appeasing and apologists for the murderers and barbarians killing our brave people in Iran.
The news coming from Iran is that the brutal Islamic regime has bought special machinery from China that disperses “nails” yes nails into the crowds, also another machinery that pours down and out boiling hot water into the crowds, and then again another machinery that disperses metal pellets into the crowds. All to be used against Iranian people any day they come out to protest.
Khamenei’s fascist son Mojtaba with such arrogance claimed today: “when we took over Iran back in 1979 we took the country with its 35 million population. Now we can do the same by giving you back your country with the same 35 million in population!!!!! Please note that the population in Iran is now more than 75 million. In another words he meant that they meaning the regime will give back Iran by killing more than half of the population!!!
AND NOW MY FRIENDS THIS IS THE REGIME WHICH HONORABLE SENATOR KERRY WANTS TO HAVE SECRET MEETING AND DIALOGUE WITH!!!
Do you all see any problem with that?
Michael -
You may have accidently let the cat (or the skunk, as the case may be)out of the bag. I predict Jesse the shakedown king, will be winging his way to Tehran
to play lets make a deal with the mullahs within a fortnight. There is no indication that Obama actually cares about the reformists or the Americans held hostage and Jesse will see an opportunity for mischief and treasure.
Unfortunately, so long as the mullahs and the Republican Guard hold the guns, it’ll be difficult to overthrow them. Consider the turn of events in Zimbawe. I wonder if some elements of the regular Iranian Army would dare turn against the RG/Basij.
It’s sad to note that, while thousands brave beatings or bullets to protest on the streets of Tehran, our President simply opts to “monitor” the situation, insisting the US cannot interfere in Iran’s internal affairs. Yet Obama had no qualms in meddling in Honduras’ affairs, only reluctantly recognizing Mr. Lobo as the new President-elect, despite a free and fair election. How can Obama -in the name of US interests or ideals- accept an enemy as the illegitimate ruler of Iran, while questioning an ally who legitimately won his election as President of Honduras?
Obama could take a lesson from Reagan. The US has a staunch ally in Poland today, because during their darkest hour, while the Left and liberal Europeans abandoned them in the name of detente, Reagan opted to stand with them. He supported the Solidarity protesters publicly, and covertly funneled money to fund their movement. Iran today faces a similar situation, but Obama apparently cannot bring himself to do the same for the young Iranian protesters. He is blinded by a self-defeating doctrine that calls for sacrificing our friends to make peace with our enemies.
MG 35.
Nicely written, but you set my world afire with the word.
Pusillanimous. Latin? Second declension? Nominative case? Meaning? I’m not looking it up. Write back and tell me what
it means.
Super word. Rachel
I am shocked and amazed at how many people actually believe Mr. Ledeen and his lies about Iran. How many years now has he been saying that iran is on its last legs, or that Iran is about to tumble and there will be a huge change.
He even advocated that Khamenei died a few years ago, and that was a blatant lie. He claimed that last year the Supreme Leader was in a coma, another lie. Still, people come on this site and claim they are indebted to him for his lies about iran.
I am an Iranian who has family in Tehran, Isfahan, and Mashad. Without exception, they all tell me that there is nothing going on in Iran for the most part. Sure there are protests that are limited to certain parts of some cities. Most of the protestors in Tehran are upper middle class people who are urbanized and more westernized when compared to the majority of Iranians. They naturally voted for Mousavi and thats perfectly ok. Unfortunately, he lost the election, and there is NO proof or evidence to show that Mousavi won the election.
All the people on this site and neocons in general like Mr. Ledeen claim that there was massive fraud, but they always lack evidence and never bother to present it. Either way, these protests are not ideological, and are not about the perceived freedoms you people think Iranians want and need, no, its about artificial freedoms that rich upper middle class young people want to make their life more tolerable in Iran. Unfortunately for them, the Iranians by and large are not secular, and are not interested in these artificial freedoms.
Its actually interesting, the government has been very very lenient with the protestors, there has been no massive use of force, the police are not allowed to carry weapons, the only things they are allowed to use is the general anti riot tools that all police forces use around the world. The protestors are the ones that are burning buses, burning trashcans, and burning motorcycles. I predict they won’t come out again for any protests this year, I predict that they give up these futile protests because the silent majority won’t be silent much longer anymore in Iran.
Its also interesting the Marjam Rajavi admits in Paris during an MEK news conference that the MEK is in Iran causing unrest and causing upheaval among the people on purpose during these times, and yet, not a single mention by Mr. Ledeen. Or the fact that Mr. Ledeen says that 25 IRGS men died fighting against insurgents in Iran…and yet, NO source, he just says it, and it magically becomes true. And the funny thing is, NOBODY here even asks him for his source, they just take his word as if he is a reliable source on Iran!
Also, for all the ignorant americans that post on this site about it being perfectly acceptable to interfere in Iran, let me ask you this.
Is it ok for you to be in Afghanistan without their consent? Is it your right to be in Iraq on false premises and commit countless acts of murder in that country in the 7 years since you’ve been there? Is it ok to support dictatorships and totalitarian regimes in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen and then complain about Iran? Its ok for you to interfere in other countries affairs and invade them at your whim, but its not ok for Iran to have influence in its OWN region!
The reason you are interfering in Iran now is because Iran is not a vassal state like the rest of the countries mentioned above. We will have our nuclear technology, and eventually our own nuclear weapon, and you won’t do a thing about it, neither will your attack dog Israel. Iran will be a regional superpower in 3 years.
Is Iranian “Islamic Tyranny” (Mullah-tariat) Itching for an Outside Attack Against Iran?
I know, the question sounds as crazy as the regime itself…However, when we are talking about this regime all bets seems to be off! For that matter the Foreign Minister Mottaki of the regime announced an “ultimatum to the West”! ( in response to the passage of West’s deadline of 12/31/09), giving Western countries a deadline of one month to yield to Iran’s conditions (or else the Iranian government will continue what it has been doing all along!). See that in:
http://www.islamonline.net/servlet/Satellite?c=Article_C&cid=1262371994448&pagename=Zone-English-News/NWELayout
No matter how crazy that sounds, Iranian Mullah-triat think either they can threaten the West and US the same way they are threatening the Iranian people, and get some millage from it. Or if that can trigger some war lingo by the West, they can use it to hide behind their usual rhetoric, and get some internal support from inside “Nationalist” and outside “Leftist/ liberal” pseudo-intellectuals.
The same was the capture of Iraq’s Fakkeh Oil-wells couple of weeks ago, for a day, to show some muscles to the West and threaten that helping the Iranian Green Movement can be reciprocated by potential damages to the oil-wells and repeating the oil market fiasco again. Al-be-it, this is a repeat-scenario beaten to death by both Saddam and Bin-Laden, in the past. On the other hand these gestures in essence show nothing but a Hail Mary play of a losing team.
Mr Othman
I misread your first post as an endorsement of the Mullahs and an “Islam will prevail”. Sorry for the joke.
Marie Claude
You are right about Musavi but I remind you that 99% of the representatives for the Etats Generaux were monarchists and that three years later they were a head shorter and France a Republic.
Was the Abbe’ Sieyes a revolutionary?
The 7th approaches and with it the proposed strikes. We could well be seeing history in the making and Dr. Ledeen seems to be the only one covering it. Thank you Dr. Ledeen and keep up the good work. Mr. O’Neill, we tried ignoring them until they brought down the Twin Towers, the head in the sand approach doesn’t work.
Michael wrote above: “Back when Ronald Reagan decided to do everything he could for the Soviet dissidents, American diplomats meeting with their Soviet counterparts always had a list of political prisoners suffering in the Gulag Archipelago; that list was presented at the meetings, along with a request that the prisoners be released.”
A friend and former colleague of mine, a retired US Secret Service ASAC and who served on several Presidential details, told me the following “on-point” and “eye witness” anecdote about President Reagan.
Official and unofficial US emissaries who were being prepared to travel to the Soviet Union and meet senior officials would often have a pre-trip briefing with President Reagan. On these occasions Reagan would consult a 3×5 card which he kept in his suit jacket pocket and which had the names of imprisoned Soviet dissidents whose release he was trying to effect. The President would direct the future emissary to ask his official Soviet official contact about the status of a particular dissident who was the President’s current focus and indicate the strong interest of the United States in the release of this dissident. When the dissident was finally released Regan would take the 3×5 card out, cross off the name with satisfaction, and begin to focus on a new dissident.

the context of french revolution was different in that sense that religion wasn’t the center of the monarchy and the population life, bigotery was never so intense than it is for islman among the popular strates of Iran, Iran will never forget islam as a civil rule too. The Laic Iranians will have to wait for a few more decades to recover their republic
@JFM:
“I misread your first post as an endorsement of the Mullahs and an “Islam will prevail”. Sorry for the joke.”
Indeed Islamic fascism will prevail as long as the humiliating policymakers in the west do not want to speak about war on terrorism, even they do not want to hear about it. Unfortunately today you could see some of the Western leaders, diplomats, academics, pundits and journalists who shamefully come to praise the evil corrupt regimes and the tyrants, supposedly thinking that they are helping those oppressed people, but in this case they harm people, it is a kind of the complicity to evil!!! But we never allow Islamist fascists and their supporters to spread their satanic ideology. The world without them will be happier and safer. (freedom and peace will prevail willy-nilly)

#43. SZ:
“We will have our nuclear technology, and eventually our own nuclear weapon, and you won’t do a thing about it, neither will your attack dog Israel. Iran will be a regional superpower in 3 years.”
Most probably someday you will possess a PEACEFUL nuclear technology, but believe me my friend, NOT under ruling of fanatic Mullahs regime!!!?? In the west there are a lot of brave people such as Dr Ledeen, which they will NEVER allow to your despotic repressive regime to possess an evil nuclear technology at any cost, because your lovely regime is forming a real threat on International Security, especially on the US and Israeli National Security. “futile dream”.
#43 (SZ) is an obvious supporter of Iranian Mullah-tariat who is shamelessly trying to justify one of the top most brutal and savage governments of history AKA “Islamic-Tyranny”. His arguments resemble those Hitler admirer Lumpen-intellectuals, who tried to legitimize fascism at the time by resorting to argument why certain group of people are “Bad”, whether they were Jewish or Gypsies in then Europe or whether they are “middle class in Iran” now. Listen to him: ”…these protests are not ideological, and are not about the perceived freedoms you people think Iranians want and need, no, its about artificial freedoms that rich upper middle class young people want to make their life more tolerable in Iran. Unfortunately for them, the Iranians by and large are not secular, and are not interested in these artificial freedoms.” So, his reasoning for support of the regime is that he is expert in recognizing freedom vs. artificial freedom and he thinks that with the exception of the protesters who are “rich upper middle class young people”, “the Iranians by and large are not secular” therefore the best option for the country is the present regime, so one can immediately ask why those whom you majority that you “silent majority” do not come to street to protest against these “rich upper middle class young people” and support their “favorite elected government”? Are they being stopped, harassed, beaten by the government’s Basij and armed forces? Is it too difficult to put an end to this green movement by coming out in millions to support the government instead of shooting at the crowds, imprisoning five to ten thousands, and torturing these few (per your assessment) “rich upper middle class young people”?
By the way, Mullah’s intellectual (SZ) does not see that these same middle class young people have come out of the same cultural system of Mullah-tariat, and they have been fed by the Islamic government for more than 30 years, why is it that now they want these “artificial freedom”? The fact contrary to SZ’s belief is that the same government despite its own intent could not decrease the social ratio of these modern middle class (students, teachers, urban workers, government employees, physicians, professionals) vs. the traditional sector of the society (peasants who by-the are non-religious, bazaar merchants, tradition artisan-labors). Therefore, it is the force of nature and the socio-economic growth of society, that is undeniably taking its course, and the voluntary and reactionary imposition of Mullah Khamenei, or his lumpen-intellectual supporters can avert that course.
By the way I find it ridiculous to see that this Lumpen-intellectual denies the shooting at crowds by Iranian Basij and Anti-riot assassins, let’s show him some blatant pictures and videos of his buddies (who unlike him do not mind showing their muscles in the day light:
1- Riot police shooting at demonstrators, IRAN TEHRAN Dec 28th 2009
http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-375953
2- Iran 27 Dec 09 Police Car running over people
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pA8yH249-OI&feature=player_embedded
3- Iran Police shooting directly at the people in ashura
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV_iMmr4wic&feature=player_embedded
4-Photographic Evidence of the Basij shooting People who are protesting
http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-376059#ireport%20#Iran%20#IranElection%20#SOG%20#Ashura%20#CNN
Even though, he might miserably justify his lies with another lie (like his favorite president) that BBC, CNN, and the entire world came down side by side the Sepah and Basij to shoot at the people and create a “bad rep” for his “holly government”!
It is such a shame to see people like SZ (or his buddy Darioush Sajjadi) are so stupid to think every one else is as stupid as they are. Lastly, resorting to Saudi Arabia, or Israel is not going to help you, as it did not help Nickolai Chauchescu, when he faced the justice. Israel, and Saudi Arabia existed back then too, and they did not have anything to do with crimes of Chauchescu and Khamenehi against their people.
Unfortunately for them, the Iranians by and large are not secular, and are not interested in these artificial freedoms.”
So, his reasoning for support of the regime is that he is an expert in recognizing freedom vs. artificial freedom and secondly, he thinks that with the exception of the protesters who are “rich upper middle class young people”, “the Iranians by and large are not secular”. Therefore the best option for the country is the present regime. So, one can immediately ask SZ why those whom you call the majority or “silent majority” do not come to street to protest against these minority of “rich upper middle class young people”? Why is it that “your majority” come out and supports their “favorite elected government”? Do the government’s Basij and armed forces stop, harass, or beat them if they do so? Is it too difficult to put an end to this green movement by coming out in millions to support the government, instead of shooting at the crowds, imprisoning five to ten thousands of dissidents, and torturing a few (per your assessment) “rich upper middle class young people”?
By the way, Mullah’s intellectual (SZ) does not see these same middle class young people have come out of the same cultural system of Mullah-tariat, and they have been manipulated and fed by the Islamic government for more than 30 years. Why is it that now they want their “artificial freedom”?
The fact, contrary to SZ’s belief is that the same government despite its own intent could not decrease the social ratio of these modern middle class (students, teachers, urban workers, government employees, physicians, professionals) vs. the traditional sector of the society (peasants who by-the are non-religious, bazaar merchants, tradition artisan-labors).
1- Riot police shooting at demonstrators, IRAN TEHRAN Dec 28th 2009

http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-376059#ireport%20#Iran%20#IranElection%20#SOG%20#Ashura%20#CNN
I’m going to go out on a limb, and write #43 (SZ) has no problem with state supported terrorism from Iran, and Syria; Also, I think he hates Jews.
What say you #43?
Farhad, you are delusional.
During this unrest in Iran, there has been a total of about 1 million people who come out at any one time and protest against the government. Iran has about 70 million people. Do the other 69 million not count? Do you really think that the protestors are the majority in Iran with regards to their views or demands? During the Shah’s demise, Iran had about 30 million people living in it, regularly, about 10 to 12 million people would show up for protests around the country..that’s about 30% of the populace…This is not even close to being a popular uprising. Its a small segment of society that is rising up because they want to have the same perceived freedoms as people do in the west. Its that simple. The silent majority doesn’t come to the streets because they don’t feel threatened, because they are the MAJORITY! only people who are in the minority or have lost a particular election come out and complain and protest! Don’t be ignorant.
By the way, your Ireport link is NOT the police shooting at people, its a smoke grenade launcher you idiot. Thats what the sound is. Are you that ignorant really?
The pictures you post are showing some men, with what appears to be guns, but not one shred of evidence of them shooting, or if they even are part of the government. the MEK’s Rajavi has ADMITTED they are in Iran causing unrest, you conveniently forget this and just post some pictures of some men with what seems to be guns and claim its the government.
And honestly, do you really expect us to believe that Iran is going through a revolution with 40 secon youtube clips, or pictures posted on CNN by some young rich kid in Iran? I am in Tehran right now, and there is nothing going on, there are no rooftop shouts, no strikes and nothing else of significance going on. If you want us to believe Iran is having a revolution, please, don’t tell me you are relying on Youtube clips.
People like you have been around for 30 years. Each year you claim Iran is on its last legs, each year you present evidence that Iran is collapsing, and each year you keep disappointing yourself and others like you. There is a reason you are called a dissident…it’s because you are a minority!
Get lost kid, you’re just another one of the neocon wannabe’s.
Russia builds nuke plants for Iran, and China has about 120 billion in contracts with them. I am not sure what amount the Germans, and French have with the trucks, and phones. Therefore, I doubt if America,(who is in hock to the CHICOMMS), will be doing anything soon to Iran.
Funny how SZ criticizes Mr. Ledeen’s sources, yet the only source HE uses is “I have some family in Iran, and they say nothing is going on.” Oh no, nothing’s going on if SZ’s “family” says so, despite hundreds of videos that point otherwise. I especially like the ones of Tehran at night, where you hear thousands chanting for the downfall of the regime.
The fact is, Iran’s population is mostly young (two thirds under 30, half under 25) and nearly half are not even Persian (51% Persian, the other half Azeris, Kurds, and other minorities). Both of these groups are usually not great supporters of the mullah’s rule. Given this, and given Iran’s shaky economy that made Ahmadinejad already a rather unpopular individual, how could we NOT suspect fraud when suddenly the man wins by a landslide?? The official numbers recorded massive voter turnout (some provinces achieving over 100% voter turnout…), showing Ahmadinejad winning in areas that usually don’t favor him (e.g. rural minority regions). To win the votes he supposedly won, he would have had to have received all the votes he got from the previous election, PLUS a large chunk of the “reformist” votes. All this makes his overwhelming victory highly unlikely, and as there were no foreign observers present, unverifiable.
Of course, we’d know better what was going on, if Iran hadn’t shut out the foreign press. But as we have no objective source of information, we must wonder:
If there’s really nothing going on, why won’t Iran let the foreign press in to find out for real? Why does Ahmadinejad feel obliged to Photoshop images of his rallies to maliciously inflate the number of people supposedly attending? http://www.nowpublic.com/world/ahmadinejad-photoshop-rallies-photo-doctored

Note all I have said is easily verifiable, unlike the comments of from SZ’s alleged Iranian “family.” I’d trust CNN, BBC, and most other independent news sources over SZ’s family, which are probably just as much anti-Semitic, mullah-loving collaborators like SZ.
In the meanwhile it is demonstrated over and over again that Islamist minds living in democracies generate a really bad crowed. They can have access to more wrong materials, people, and resources. Something that is not possible in their own country.
As we have seen in the news over the past few years, most of the Islamist terrorists have been recruited in free places like UK. This last one (Xmas terrorist) was also student in UK. May be it is time for UK to control some of these crazies and not to let these Islamist to take advantage of free societies to promote their wrong ideas. Generally speaking a mixer of Islamist and democracy ideologies is of utmost danger to human being. Islamists utilize all aspects of modern and free societies to recruit inexperience minds. As experience with MKO elements in Iran have shown, changing these people to understand the realities of life is almost impossible. Despite all the defeats and punishment they experience, they come back if they find the opportunity. Marxists, Islamists, and cult members like MKOs can never be rehabilitated. Period.
#43, Iran will be superpower in 3 years with what kind of equipments or airplanes?
Islamic Republic is already a superpower when it comes to destroying Iran and its people. Forget about what ML is saying, but how could you ignorant ignore countless animosities against Iranian people from the moment that your Big Imam of lies Khomeinie first appeared in the moon and then landed in Iran in a cemetery to promote barbarism, darkness, and death. How could you deny total destruction of Iran’s culture, economy, education, and human right? How could you deny the fact that Islamic Republic barbarism has caused the enhancement of culture of Mahdi and Khomeinism which is establishment of Poverty, Prostitution, and Drug use in Iran?
Mr. SZ#43, Please get out of this country which is established for human, and go to hell where Khomeinie live or go and live with your family who gave you the information you quoted here. Obviously they are like you, backward.
Leatherneck,
I don’t care about jews or Israel. Your argument is a typical stereotype of Middle Easterners, they all hate jews and they all support terrorist. Notice that all these terrorists are arabs and since this last incident, nigerian!
Chileno,
Your articles are out of date. The soccer players from the Iranian national team did NOT get banned for life. FIFA explicitly forbids governments from involving themselves in sport. So that article you posted is simply outdated and a lie.
Second of all, every single source you list is from countries who are sworn enemies of Iran. If you honestly think that CNN and BBC don’t have a bias against Iran, then you are simply ignorant. Like I said, this “uprising” which is really a small scale protest scattered in cities and limited to the upper class is a YOUTUBE phenomenon. People capture a 30 second clip, post it on youtube, and the world claims Iran is collapsing. Its simply not true, and people like you can try and convince us otherwise, but the facts don’t support your argument.
You post videos and claim that Thousands of people are marching…..my exact point, thousands are marching….so what? Do thousands of people represent the majority of Iran? Do thousands of people represent a valid protest? Do thousands of people even have any leverage in this government and in Iran. Look, Iran is a country of 70 million, and the people overwhelmingly support the government.
Your first point really shows why Americans and the west in general don’t understand Iran….
“The fact is, Iran’s population is mostly young (two thirds under 30, half under 25) and nearly half are not even Persian (51% Persian, the other half Azeris, Kurds, and other minorities).”
Iran’s population is young, granted, but you claim they are not persian? Are you an idiot? Khamenei himself is a Turk, from Tabriz. Mousavi is from Tabriz. Karroubi himself is from Lorestan, which you claim is not Persian. Believe me, I am an Iranian, my mother is from Abadan in Khuzestan, and my father is from Babol in Mazandaran. According to you, I would not be considered persian….hahahaha…americans really are ignorant, and its exactly the reason why the world hates you. People in Iran who you consider minorites have been Iranian and have considered themselves Iranian for thousands of years. Please stop spreading your lies and BS.
“Iran’s shaky economy that made Ahmadinejad already a rather unpopular individual, how could we NOT suspect fraud when suddenly the man wins by a landslide”
Umm…in Iran, in 2005, Ahmadinejad won by 66% of the vote in the runoff against Rafsanjani. I voted in that election, you don’t know what you’re talking about if you think he is unpopular. Seriously, where do you people get this stuff from?
“The official numbers recorded massive voter turnout (some provinces achieving over 100% voter turnout…), showing Ahmadinejad winning in areas that usually don’t favor him (e.g. rural minority regions). To win the votes he supposedly won, he would have had to have received all the votes he got from the previous election, PLUS a large chunk of the “reformist” votes. All this makes his overwhelming victory highly unlikely, and as there were no foreign observers present, unverifiable.”
Umm..another blatant lie. In Iran, you don’t have to vote where you live. You can vote anywhere you want as long as you are registered. Therefore some districts had more votes than registered voters in that district, that’s to be expected when people can vote anywhere they please. You claim Ahmadinejad isn’t favored in rural areas? I have a newsflash for you….he is MORE popular in rural areas because of his populist election strategy. You’re an idiot and you prove it once again.
Ahmadinejad won by 66% of the votes, in 2005, he also won by that margin in the runoff against Rafsanjani. So your claim that he had to have won a large chunks of independents is flat out wrong. This isn’t american politics, stop acting like you know what you’re talking about.
Lastly, I lik that last bit of arrogance, since there was no FOREIGN observers present, the election MUST be a fraud. You are the typical arrogant ignorant american who thinks he knows the world, until suddenly the world changes around you, and then you realize you don’t know anything about the world.
Don’t talk about Iran, leave that to Iranians who actually live here and know the country.
Michael,
1- Congratulations on your Blogs! Apparently you are doing a swell job that Ahmadinezhad has sent his English speaking agent (SZ) to engage in political polemic (!) with your readers.
This agent lies just like Ahmadinezhad, and speaks with a forked tongue just like his master and that of Hossein Shariatmadari (Chief torturer of Evin, and current Editor in Chief of Kayhan Government paper), and Ayatollah Mesbaah Yazdi (conniving teacher of Ahmadinezhad). The above mentioned names belong to an ultra-right school of people on the top, who are all former students of a guy named Ahmad Fardid. Fardid taught Philosophy in Tehran University, and spewed the Fascist interpretation of Heidegger to these blood thirsty Islamo-Fascists, to equip their obsolete ideology of 14 centuries ago with a contemporary one and to send them to a Jihad against what he called “Westoxification”).
2- As Khamenei is a weak personality, it is reported that he is wavering between the hard line Sepah (Revolutionary Guards) and Ahmadinezhad on one side and Rafsanjani on the other. Khamenei’s order to attack silent demonstration right after June Elections was a decision in alliance with his hard line buddies. As a result of that recipe Islamic Tyranny, beat up, kill, imprison and torture the dissident demonstrators. Then as that policy of violence against demonstrators did not work (due to continuation of the demonstrations and increase of discontent in big cities) he sought Rafsanjani’s assistance and sent emissaries to Mousavi and Karrubi for a compromise. Rafsanjani’s minimum request was to help return Islamic Legitimacy to the society by asking the release of political prisoners and punishment of those who raped and tortured the prisoners in the Islamic prisons (the government itself has attested to three cases of torture out of numerous ones). But Mousavi and Karrubi’s minimum request included resignation of Amadinezhad and another re-election, which was not acceptable to Khamenei and rendered no outcome. Khamenei’s decided to continue harsh punishment against demonstration. This policy had remained as modus-operandi of the regime, for a long time ever since. It is being reported that with the death of dissident Ayatollah Montazeri, and the huge turnout of mourners and supporters of him (a sign of opposition to the government of Ali Khamenei) in traditional cities like Qom and Najaf Abad, and the event of Ashura in Tehran and other big cities, Khamenei is growing worried about the future of his crown and is afraid of losing the throne due to following hard liners recipes. He met with Rafasanjani, and some believe that Mousavi’s #17th statement is a gesture in kind. Some other parallel events can be related to this new gesture on the part of Khamenei: Saeed Mortazavi (one of the hard liners in Ahmadinezhad team and former Chief Prosecuter i.e. district attorney of Tehran, who is also purported as the torturer and killer of Iranian-Canadian journalist Zahra Kazemi, as well as many other political prisoners), is now pronounced as the number one suspect of the crimes of torture (and of course rape) in Kahrizak prison (the charges were pronounced yesterday by investigative committee of parliament). Moreover, Roohollah Hoseinian (another hard line figure of Ahmadinezhad’s gang, who purportedly was in charge of the so called chain assassinations of intellectual dissident a decade ago) is forced to resign from his position in parliament. What does all this (if they come to any fruition) may mean for foreign policy of the Islamic Tyranny? Could there be a tactical collision with US to justify sending the “Lurch” back to Iran in the picture? May be, but a tactic like that will definitely serve two purpose, and the esoteric one may turn out to be a “dialogue”.
Perhaps, it can save the day for Khamenei if he acts accordingly. However, the big question remains to be: What about the demands of the people of Iran? What about the bankrupt economy of a country which is floating on a sea of oil, with labor prices as cheap as dirt and the cost of living as high as US?
yes, that is indeed the central question, farhad.
SZ:
Either you’re a tool of your repressive “government” (read: theocratic dictatorship), a Basij, or an absolute idiot too blind to realize what’s going on. You responded just as I thought you would: you spew a lot of crap, but give NO sources. NONE. ZERO. You have no proof for what you say because it’s all a LIE. Then you did the typical thing: try to discredit my sources as all coming from “sworn enemies” of Iran. Oh! It’s all a giant conspiracy against the mullahcracy!! Like CNN gives a crap which government runs your backward country. Funny you should think BBC has a bias against Iran, as the Israelis also believe it’s biased… against Israel! Ha, ha, ha! Gee, what about the Guardian? You’d think that a left-leaning British paper would be favorable to Iran? Oh no! Here’s a Guardian article regarding the banned soccer players! http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jun/23/iran-football-protest-ban
Sorry, Mr. Mullah-lover, but the press in the West usually runs whatever articles they like. They’re not censured or take marching orders from a crazy theocratic system, like your sorry-assed government. Do you deny your lack of freedom of the press? Why did the government feel the need to shut down the “Karjo Zaran” reformist newspaper last January, simply because it published a report critical of Hamas? Why did the government spend this past October shutting down reformist newspapers? Answer me this quote:
“The papers closed on Tuesday were Tahlil Rooz (Day’s Analysis) in the southern city of Shiraz, and two of the most influential reformist newspapers Farhang Ashdi (Culture of Reconciliation) and Arman (Ideals) published in the capital, Tehran.” Oh, and that’s not from an “evil” Western news outlet, but from AL JAZEERA. http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2009/10/2009106141922771476.html
My articles are “out of date”? Oh, that’s a new one. The soccer players were “retired” last June. Wow, 7 months is considered “out of date”? You’re really grasping at straws here. Show me an article, anything, that disproves what I said. Please!! You can’t because there’s nothing out there that supports your lies.
This has been a “YouTube phenomenon” because there ISN’T ANY OTHER STABLE NEWS OUTLET in Iran. And why would that be? Because the government keeps CLOSING LOCAL NEWSPAPERS and BANNING the FOREIGN PRESS. Why have over 100 journalists been arrested since Ahmadinejad’s disgraceful fraud? Here’s a great site from Reporters Without Borders that details all those that have been arrested:
http://www.rsf.org/Press-freedom-violations-recounted.html
Iran now has the dubious honor of being the country with the most imprisoned journalists n the world, even ahead of Cuba and China.
You trivialize thousands marching against the government? How about the 100,000-strong protest on June 18, in Tehran alone, at the Azadi monument? How easy do you think it is to gather such large numbers, particularly under the shadow of a repressive government and its Basij attack dogs? Are you blind? When, in the last THIRTY YEARS, has something similar occurred in Iran?
You trivialize the “30 second clips,” but fail to note that it’s one after another, after another… Don’t you realize how this is going on and on, 7 months after the election, in street after street. The “30 second clips” add up to hours and hours of protest footage all over Iran. Yet you deny this is going on at all, just a bunch of rich kids…
And you fail to comment on the particular videos showing police/Basij brutality I posted. Videos that specifically show them firing at crowds of civilians. Even if the crowds were unruly “rich kids,” what kind of animal regime allows its security forces to shoot into crowds? And what kind of animal are you to implicitly condone this?
“you claim they are not persian?” Do you even know what the term means? I don’t have time for an extensive review, but please read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Iran
“People in Iran who you consider minorities have been Iranian and have considered themselves Iranian for thousands of years.” Even you aren’t stupid enough not to realize that being “Iranian” and being “Persian” mean two different things. In terms of Iranian minorities living harmoniously with the Persian majority, here’s a great link to Amnesty International’s 2007 report: http://europenews.dk/en/node/1790
Which cites: “Repression of minorities: Ethnic and religious minorities remained subject to discriminatory laws and practices which continued to be a source of social and political unrest. ARABS continued to complain of discrimination, including in access to resources, as well as forced evictions… AZERBAIJANIS: In May, widespread demonstrations took place in mainly Azerbaijani north-western towns and cities in protest at the publication of a cartoon offensive to Azerbaijanis in the state-run Iran newspaper. Hundreds, if not thousands, were arrested and scores reportedly killed by the security forces… KURDS: In February, clashes between Kurdish demonstrators and the security forces in Maku and other towns reportedly led to at least nine deaths and scores, if not hundreds, of arrests… BALUCHIS: In March a Baluchi armed group, Jondallah, killed 22 Iranian officials and took at least seven hostage, in Sistan-Baluchistan province. Following the incident, scores, possibly hundreds, of people were arrested; many were reportedly taken to unknown locations. In the months following the attacks, the number of executions announced in Baluchi areas increased dramatically. Dozens were reported to have been executed by the end of the year… RELIGIOUS MINORITIES: Members of Iran’s religious minorities were detained or harassed on account of their faith…”
That would include the Sufis, Baha’is, and evangelical Christians. And I wouldn’t even want to think what you’d do if someone declared himself a homosexual… Here’s another source that mirrors much of the AI report http://fas.org/sgp/crs/mideast/RL34021.pdf though you probably wouldn’t like it, as it’s from the “evil” US Congressional Research Service.
“…in Iran, in 2005, Ahmadinejad won by 66% of the vote in the runoff against Rafsanjani. …you don’t know what you’re talking about if you think he is unpopular.” Oh, yes! And George Bush won in 2004 by absolute majority as well -despite an unpopular war! I don’t know where you get the idea HE was unpopular… Of course, you deceptively use Ahmadinejad’s runoff numbers, where obviously the winner had over 50% (there’s only 2 candidates in a runoff, duh). Why not use Ahmadinejad’s FIRST round 2005 election numbers? Oh, because in the first round he only had 19% of the vote!! And Rafsanjani got 21%. But now, on the first round, Ahmadinejad wins by 63% and this is not strange?? What are you smoking?
“You claim Ahmadinejad isn’t favored in rural areas? I have a newsflash for you….he is MORE popular in rural areas because of his populist election strategy. You’re an idiot and you prove it once again.”
No, it is YOU who shows what an idiot you are. Look at the 2005 election data. The more rural a province, the LESS votes Ahmadinejad received. You know much of Iran’s rural population is comprised of ethnic minorities: Lors, Baluch, Kuridsh, and Arabs. These ethnic minorities, have a history of both voting reformist and voting for members of their own ethnic group. They voted for Khatami in 1997, 2001, and for Karrubi/Mostafa Moin in 2005. And suddenly there’s a shift in 2009? Karrubi’s rural vote suddenly collapses? Going from 55.5% in his home province of Lorestan in 2005, to 4.6% in 2009? And this does not bother you?? You’re either very blind or very stupid, or very much a regime crony. How much are they paying you to write all this? Here’s an interesting article about Iran’s “rural vote”: http://www.agenceglobal.com/Article.asp?Id=2034
You keep arguing that we should “get out” of Iranian affairs. Sure, once you get out of EVERYBODY ELSE’S affairs. Stop funding terrorist organizations in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iraq, for starters. It is ironic that, while your economy is crumbling under high inflation/unemployment, your government still funnels millions to these foreign organizations.
If you really believe what you’re saying, then you’ve become a useful idiot to the regime that will destroy your own country. But I doubt even you are that stupid. I’m sure you know what’s going on, but because of personal or political interests, would rather see your fellow Iranians die on the street than to see your interests compromised. I hope you can sleep at night, thinking how your countrymen are suffering. Then again, it probably doesn’t bother you, since your rabid anti-Semitic, anti-West agenda depends on their failure.
Go on saying all my sources are “evil” and “biased.” It’s the only thing you’re good at. Who knows? Maybe one day we’ll all believe YOU over CNN, BBC, the Guardian, Al Jazeera, even Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders, as they ALL form the giant anti-Iran conspiracy, and you’re the only one telling the truth… NOT! And feel free to keep complaining about those ignorant “Americans.” I guess you’re just too dense to realize from my call name “Chileno” that I am from CHILE, in South America. Idiot.
Michael, I hope it doesn’t result in deja vu, but when I read this: * Emadedien Baghi: A student of the late Grand Ayatollah Montazeri, He was himself a spiritual figure, but he has abandoned the turban. He was arrested because of an interview on the BBC Farsi servicewith Montazeri.
What came to mind was of a Bulgarian dissident, who was close to the regime at one time, and the dissident was dispatched by a hired gun, because this dissident was on the Beeb. Does this ring any bells?
SZ: I have two words for you: Zahra kazemi.
Furthermore, I am familiar with “Not without my daughter” as well.
Chileno, first off, before I start to dissect your idiotic argument i must say that I don’t care where the hell you’re from.
Its interesting that just because I support the government, I must be a tool or a basij right? Its gotten to the point where you can’t argue with me, so you just claim I am part of the government…Idiot.
You say I have no proof and that everything I say is a lie, but yet you claim to know everything about Iran because of western news sources and because of youtube clips. I live here, and see what is going on in my own country. Don’t be so fucking pretentious and claim to know more about Iran when you actually don’t know shit.
“Like CNN gives a crap which government runs your backward country.”
First of all, if you honestly think that the American media doesn’t adhere to US foreign policy then you are the idiot. We saw how independent your media was when the United States was making a case for attacking Iraq. Fact is that the US media as a whole adheres to whatever policy the country is pursuing at the time. Only during domestic disputes, does the country have two or more distinct sides to the issue. Do you really think that Reza Sayah on CNN doesn’t have an inherent interest in seeing this government collapse and doesn’t have an inherent interest in seeing Iran fundamentally changed. People like you claim and swear up and down that the US media and British media are so trustworthy and impartial and free when all signs point to a media that is owned by corporate interests and bends over backwards to portray US foreign policy as just and honest. Forgive me for not giving a shit about your sources on CNN and BBS and Guardian. They may be perfectly credible and objective in the US and UK, but when it comes to international issues and Iran, they aren’t worth a bag of shit.
And for the last time you fucking idiot, the players were banned in JUNE and reinstated shortly thereafter. FIFA gave Iran a warning about interfering in sports and the government reinstated the players. STOP posting articles from June and claim that it is current. Ali Karimi and Mahdavikia played in a friendly for Iran and have also played in recent qualification matches for Iran in the Asian Cup. Seriously, stop posting Bullshit. I live in Iran and see them play on TV!
And again, stick to talking about Chile or maybe US domestic issues because your knowledge of Iran is not worth a bag of shit. It’s also interesting that you turn to personal attacks and resort to calling me Mr. Mullah-Lover…hahaha…When you can’t retort the argument, retort to personal attacks, very classy of you.
The press in the west does run whatever the hell it wants, you are perfectly correct, that’s why they posted BS about the Iraqi WMD at the time of the Iraq invasion, and that’s why they continually post lies about Iran, its funny because here in Iran, we laugh at the idiotic leaders of the west who are clueless about Iran, but people like you claim to be an expert when you are really just a insignificant prick with a blog.
At this time, there are 40 opposition channels being sent into Iran via satellite and radio. Forgive the government for shutting down certain papers when it deems they are a threat to national security. The last thing we worry about here in Iran is what some idiot chileno thinks about us, or what the US thinks about us for that matter.
“The papers closed on Tuesday were Tahlil Rooz (Day’s Analysis) in the southern city of Shiraz, and two of the most influential reformist newspapers Farhang Ashdi (Culture of Reconciliation) and Arman (Ideals) published in the capital, Tehran.”
So what? It’s our country, you don’t like it, don’t move here. Fuck if I care what you think!
Again, you think that just because some people show up in the streets and take youtube clips that it becomes a revolution. ITS NOT! and you are right, we will kick out the biased western news sources any day of the week and twice on sundays. Scum like Amanpour and Zakaria go on CNN and curse us for being different and not having the same ideals that they have or want us to have. nobody in Iran cares what they think, and most importantly, its our country, what the fuck do you care what happens here? Get a life.
“Iran now has the dubious honor of being the country with the most imprisoned journalists n the world, even ahead of Cuba and China.”
SO WHAT? why do you care about Iran so much? Those journalists either reported lies, or reported anti government propaganda and they were punished for it according to our laws. You want to bitch and moan about human rights, go to the UN, don’t interfere in our country.
“You trivialize thousands marching against the government? How about the 100,000-strong protest on June 18, in Tehran alone, at the Azadi monument? How easy do you think it is to gather such large numbers, particularly under the shadow of a repressive government and its Basij attack dogs? Are you blind? When, in the last THIRTY YEARS, has something similar occurred in Iran?”
Wait, are you really claiming that 100,000 people represent the will of an entire country of 70 million? Are you fucking kidding me? These hoodlums come out and are pissed off their guy lost, and you want the government to cave in and give them everything they want? So what about the people that voted for Ahmadinejad? Are their votes not important? Look, the simple fact is that you don’t like who we have in office, so you feel that any opposition, no matter how small or insignificant should be awarded their demands. Its stupid frankly, and I laugh at people like you who want to bend to the wishes of the minority when the majority have clearly spoken.
FYI, the clips of people shooting into the crowd, is just that, people shooting into the crowd. You don’t know who that is, whether its basij, or MEK who have admitted to being in Iran and causing unrest. Hell, it could be even the CIA, whose guys just got killed like bitches in Khost, Afghanistan. It could be ANYONE, you don’t know who it was, all you know is that it’s a guy who shot at someone on a 30 second phone video clip some guy posted on youtube…and fyi, who do you think has access to youtube and facebook in Iran? Is it the poor people or the rich north tehran kids? And for the record, its been stated numerous times that the POLICE don’t carry guns when they try and break up the protests. You’re an idiot.
“you claim they are not persian?” Do you even know what the term means? I don’t have time for an extensive review, but please read this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Iran”
Hey jackass, dividing Iranians into different minority groups is idiotic, its the same BS neocons like you tried to pull in Iraq….My father is from Mazandaran, he laughs at intonations that he is not Persian. He may be officially listed as a “minority” on the CIA factbook, or the Library of Congress, but that shows how out of touch they are with the true facts in Iran. my mother is from Abadan, which is in Khuzestan, she is considered an Arab minority, but she abhors arabs and considers herself fully Persian. You can change terms between Iranian and Persian, but the facts don’t change. All people in my country have ONE national heritage. I live here and have lived here my whole life, i don’t need people like you trying to tell me who is a minority and who isn’t when your precious CIA can’t even get their heads on straight in any intelligence operation in the MIddle East. You truly are an idiot.
LIsten asshole, just because you site a amnesty international article that claims all this BS doesn’t mean its true. again, for your information, I LIVE IN IRAN. half of my family is considered Arab, and everything in that Amnesty International article made me laugh out loud. I even showed my uncle who is from Khuzestan and he laughed at the premise that they are discriminated against and don’t have access to resources. You’re making an idiot out of yourself, maybe your american or chilean friends believe you and your bs, but not in Iran, thats why we have the west by the balls the past 7 years with regards to our nuclear energy program.
“Here’s another source that mirrors much of the AI report http://fas.org/sgp/crs/mideast/RL34021.pdf though you probably wouldn’t like it, as it’s from the “evil” US Congressional Research Service.”
Wait a minute, again, you list sources from a country which for 30 years has wanted to change the regime in my country, and who for 9 years supported Iraq in its war against us, or wait, did that not happen? You list a source from a “research service” which called my country part of an axis of evil just because they disagree, you have members of your congress advocating military action against us because we want nuclear energy and then you have the audacity to claim that your source is valid when it comes to Iran? Again, your sources are good for people who are ignorant like you and who want to believe everything they are presented about Iran, its idiotic. This is like 2003 all over again…Iraq has WMD….we have satellite pictures…hahahaha…..and then what happened once you invaded under illegal pretenses….ummm..nothing there….same with Iran, you spew out a bunch of lies and made up reports, and you expect people to believe you. Maybe chileans are stupider than I thought.
Prove that Ahmadinejad cheated on this recent election, if you can’t prove it, then stop accusing and passing your opinion as fact. I won’t argue a point which you can’t prove. The burden of proof is on the accuser. So prove it or fuck off.
Again, you claim that just because people voted against your norms and beliefs on how they should vote, that it was cheating…PROVE IT! prove that there was fraud. You say that Karroubi lost in his home province of Lorestan, so therefore there must have been fraud. Hey idiot, Al Gore lost his home state of Tennessee in 2000, nobody said a word then. Where do you people get off accusing our government and our system of being a fraud, when you can’t even prove it?
“You keep arguing that we should “get out” of Iranian affairs. Sure, once you get out of EVERYBODY ELSE’S affairs. Stop funding terrorist organizations in Lebanon, Gaza, and Iraq, for starters. It is ironic that, while your economy is crumbling under high inflation/unemployment, your government still funnels millions to these foreign organizations.”
Since when is Hezbollah which has 11 of 30 seats in the Lebanese cabinet a terrorist organization? The world doesn’t operate based on your definition of terrorist organization. In our neck of the woods, your pussy marines are war criminals and terrorists. Go to hell, we have our own regional interests, and we at least are in this region…You are getting your ass kicked in Afghanistan and you removed Saddam for us and now we have a Shia majority government in Iraq who is our ally. thanks! And what we do with our money is none of your business, seriously, who died and made you God? What gives you the right to criticize us?
You’re the useful idiot friend, you are the one who buys this BS posted by neocons who have you fooled. I am surprised, were you one of the people who said Iraq was an imminent threat and had WMDs because the CIA and Bush said so? DId you pull out a bunch of reports and cite the BBC, guardian, and CNN for your sources? I bet you did…guess what, we don’t give a fuck. The people that are out protesting, are the minority, and they won’t come out again because their leader realizes he fucked up. And believe me, I sleep very well at night here in Tehran. Its great being in my own country and living in the kind of country that is not a vassal state like everyone else in the Middle East. Believe me, we don’t need your advice on how to run our country, when your people were cavemen, we had civilizations. The last people we need advice from is dumb chileans who think they know what’s going on in Iran. You should just stick to whatever it is your country does well….which ironically is nothing. I wonder how it feels to be from somewhere with no achievements and from a country with no real independence. Must suck.
@SZ
Oh! Look who got all riled up with my last comments! Look who can use swear words!! Now I really think your a man, SZ… A puny man that can’t defend his ideals. SZ = Stupid Zealot? Your last rant was as flaccid as the miniscule prick in you pants. Again NO SOURCES. NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. Not even from your own biased state-run media. I found it hillarious how you feign the moral high ground, claiming I had to “resort to personal attacks….” When it was YOU who first gave us such “classy” statements as “Are you an idiot?” And “You are the typical arrogant ignorant american…” in comment #63. Moron.
“the players were banned in JUNE and reinstated shortly thereafter” PROVE IT. How hard could it be? IRNA didn’t post a newsbit on this?? You’re all big on the West proving Ahmadinejerk committed fraud, yet have NO PROOF of ANYTHING YOU SAY, except saying that “I LIVE IN IRAN” and we’re supposed to take you on faith. As far as I know, you’re some old wrinkly-assed hag typing away in Karachi.
“I LIVE IN IRAN” -SO DO THE BASIJ AND THE MULLAHS. SO THAT MEANS SHIT TO ME. EVEN IF YOU WRITE IT IN CAPITAL LETTERS.
“you are really just a insignificant prick with a blog” And what are you?? A two-lettered anonymous idiot who thinks everyone should take him on faith??
“Fuck if I care what you think!” Yeah, that pretty much sums up the bullshit you pass for a response. Yet for someone who doesn’t give a fuck, you spend an awful lot of time responding. If you don’t give a fuck, why don’t you do the world a favor and just SHUT THE FUCK UP.
“Those journalists either reported lies, or reported anti government propaganda and they were punished for it according to our laws. You want to bitch and moan about human rights, go to the UN, don’t interfere in our country.” Yes! And the Basij only kill bad people, so it’s O.K.! You say we should all just bitch at the UN if we have human rights issues. Why doesn’t your OWN so-called government take your OWN advice, when it comes to Israeli human rights abuses, STFU, and STOP SHIPPING ARMS to Hamas or Hezbollah. If the West acted like your mullah regime, we would have armed the MEK with Katyushas which they would regularly fire into Iranian cities, especially when schools were about to let out.
“who do you think has access to youtube and facebook in Iran? Is it the poor people or the rich north tehran kids?” You log on to this site regularly, so I guess you’re a rich north Tehran kid. Damn spoiled brat you are…
“And for the record, its been stated numerous times that the POLICE don’t carry guns” Stated numerous times? WHERE? NO LINKS?? No, you’re right. I should believe you. Those clips with uniformed men with motorcycles shooting at civilians, they were all staged, right? You sound like one of those Soviet-era apparatichs who would lie their way through anything.
“Al Gore lost his home state of Tennessee in 2000″ Helooo! Anybody home?? Bush took it in 2000 by a margin of 51 – 47. Clinton only won it in 1996 by 48-47, and in 1992 by 47- 42. Democrats CONSISTENLY polled around 47%, while Republicans polled 42-51%. Yet you compare this to Karrubi’s popular collapse IN 4 YEARS from 55% to just 4.5%??? Please! Stop smoking your hash for just a minute, and think of what you’re saying!
“we don’t need your advice on how to run our country, when your people were cavemen, we had civilizations.” Yes! You HAD a civilization… until the mullahs arrived. Then what happened to that civilization? While the West evolved, you regressed into a shithole of a nation ruled by fanatics and supported by idiot fools like yourself. I bet you supported the slaughter your leaders promoted during the 80-88 war. Crawl back under the rat infested Iranian rock you came from. Oooh, you want nuclear weapons? Pakistan has them, and they’re still as dysfunctional a nation as ever. What are you going to do with them? Nuke Israel? Do you think they’d let you? You’re too far away to threaten the U.S., yet US warships sail by your coastline every day. Sweet dreams.
In the meantime, your assinine mullahcracy continues its repression of minorities. This just came out on 7 Baha’i leaders that are about to stand “trial.” http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/01/09/iran.bahai.trial/index.html
Oh, I forgot, this is all part of the great “conspiracy against Iran,” whereby in your paranoid, deluded vision, any foreign news source is biased against you. Congratulations! You’ve reached North Korean levels of brain washing! Even if you were right that the entire world hates you (except maybe the Russians, who find you useful), have you ever stopped to wonder WHY that would be? Hmm… Either A) The entire world is evil, and so hates the Iranian mullahcracy, or maybe B) The mullahcracy is evil, and most of the world is O.K. Which would be more logical… ?
In terms of the Baha’i, how about this report, signed by 267 Iranian intellectuals and activists, which states that “” As Iranian human beings, we are ashamed for what has been perpetrated upon the Baha’is in the last century and a half in Iran.”: http://www.iranian.com/main/2009/feb/we-are-ashamed
Oh, but they’re all outside the country. Of course, you dolt, because if they’d say this inside your repressive Basij-infested police state, they’d all be jailed.
“just because you site a amnesty international article that claims all this BS doesn’t mean its true.” Yeah, because those AI reporters are such big liars, except when they report on Israel, right? And I’m supposed to ignore AI, and listen to YOU and your “family” instead?
I really do feel sorry for your Iranian compatriots. Iran could be a great nation, except for cretins like yourself who would rather see it run into the ground by the mullahs than see it progress. It must be sad to live in a nation with such great potential, only to see it dashed by losers like yourself. Chile espoused free trade and international commerce. Now we are economic leaders in our region, unlike Iran. How does it feel to be an oil-rich nation that has to IMPORT gasoline because you don’t have the capacity to make it yourself? I’d love to go to Iran and fly Saha Airlines, to fly on a 707, as I did in South America… BACK IN THE 1970s. Your proud Persian ancestors would probably foam at the mouth and go into convulsions after realizing how you’ve wrecked Iran, and after seeing you whine like little girls that “the world hates us!” Good for them they’re long dead.
But really, you can have whatever shitty government you want. Go ahead, kill your own and do whatever the hell you want WITHIN YOUR BORDERS. If you want to be like Burma or Zimbabwe, that’s your own problem -nobody would bother you. But then your mullahs go shipping arms to terrorists, and try to spread their nefarious influence throughout the region. You want us to leave you alone? Stick to your borders and STFU. You want to be a global player? Then learn to deal with the competition. Stop your girly whining. Suck it up or go home.
tsk tsk tsk, Chileno
“Yeah, that pretty much sums up the bullshit you pass for a response. Yet for someone who doesn’t give a fuck, you spend an awful lot of time responding. If you don’t give a fuck, why don’t you do the world a favor and just SHUT THE FUCK UP.”
Apply that same principal to yourself. Who cares what some idiot chilean neocon thinks about the world?
“Yes! If the West acted like your mullah regime, we would have armed the MEK with Katyushas which they would regularly fire into Iranian cities, especially when schools were about to let out.”
My government doesn’t recognize Israel, why would we care about them anyway? Does typing in caps make you right? You want us to stop shipping arms to Hezbollah and Hamas, then make us. All the west does is talk and talk, and threaten, and talk some more and at the end of the day, our allies have all the weapons they want and need. FYI, during the Iran Iraq war, the US and Europe did give Saddam all the help he needed, Hell, Rumsfeld even met with Saddam during the war in Baghdad…But what happened, we didn’t lose an inch of land and ended up pushing Saddam back. The US already let the MEK stay in Iraq under US protection, but what happened once they left…oops, MEK got shut down in Iraq and now their leader in Paris, Maryam Rajavi admitted to having agents in Iran. And you want sources, here is a source stating that the US supports a TERRORIST organization to infiltrate Iran and cause unrest and kill innocent civilians…http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=115495§ionid=351020101
You want more sources, how about this one, the commander of the police force explicitly states that the police don’t carry weapons. http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=114758§ionid=351020101
You don’t complain when the US gives free money to Egypt and Israel, when the US gives weapons to Saudi Arabia and Egypt and Israel, but you complain when Iran gives weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah….
“Yes! Sweet dreams.”
Its funny you don’t mention you have a civilization, because you don’t!! Your country was colonized for 400 years and all traces of your indigenous culture was wiped out by the Spanish. How humiliating must it be to speak the language of your conquerors.
Also, since when did the Mullahs get rid of our heritage and civilization? are you an idiot? I supported the slaughter of Iranians in the war of aggression waged on us by Iraq? Are you kidding me? You are blaming Iran for being invaded by a bloodthirsty dictator who at the time was encouraged by the US? Here is another source for your dumbass….http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_support_for_Iraq_during_the_Iran–Iraq_war…ooh look at that, Saddam was made an HONORARY CITIZEN OF DETROIT!!!! hahahahahaha..talk about supporting dictators who commit mass murder of their own people and invade countries on false pretenses…wow, you have the audacity to talk about Iran supporting Hamas and Hezbollah?
Also, who ever said that Iran wanted nuclear weapons? We just want the energy, you don’t like that, stop us! HAHAHAHAHHA..the funny thing is you can’t! and fyi, those ships sailing along the coastline…..we saw how much power your navy displays when the USS cole got attacked by a paddle boat!
Who cares about the Baha’i, nobody forces them to live anywhere they don’t want, and by the way, those baha’i are charged with anti government actions..here is another source, two can play this game….http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gF1EuNN8sLiITTlSMK2AEeuwxWJQ…you stupid fucking idiot.
Don’t feel sorry for us, feel sorry for your colony. We don’t need your pity. You’re a stupid idiot, and someone who doesn’t know the truth if it hit you in the ass. That’s ok. I could care less.
“But really, you can have whatever shitty government you want. Go ahead, kill your own and do whatever the hell you want WITHIN YOUR BORDERS. But then your mullahs go shipping arms to terrorists, and try to spread their nefarious influence throughout the region. You want us to leave you alone? Stick to your borders and STFU. You want to be a global player? Then learn to deal with the competition. Stop your girly whining. Suck it up or go home.”
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA….We are doing what we want in the world, and middle east. We control Hamas and Hezbollah, we have the Iraq government on our side. We even have had our nuclear energy program the past 7 years…and what have you done about it?? Nothing! You can’t do anything and I bet that kills you inside. We give rockets and money to whoever we want, and there is nothing you can do about it. You don’t even matter in South America, much less in the MIddle East! It makes me happy that people like you exist, all talk and can’t walk the walk…days like this, make me happy to be Iranian and not some colonized…
Hey Zealot! This is getting funnier by the minute!
“Does typing in caps make you right?” Umm… I wasn’t the one who started with the whole I LIVE IN IRAN shit…. You should really look back at what you write before you continue, and save yourself from looking more foolish than nature intended.
“…our allies have all the weapons they want and need.” Except those bombed to crap by the IAF…. Ha, ha, ha!! http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1888352,00.html
Your “allies” are so brave, they have to hide behind women and children so the Israelis don’t bomb the crap out of them as well.
BTW, I’m glad your sclerotic mind finally showed the capacity to find supporting links. Yeah, PressTV WOULD be the only one supporting your BS. I love how your link says “an informed source …with close ties to Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps.” You question my sources because they come from Western media, and you put up something that uses informants from the IRGC??? And you say MY sources are biased?? Ha, ha, ha! I thought you could go no further in your level of stupidity, but once again you prove me wrong.
It’s great how your source, which you ostensibly use to PROVE the police don’t carry weapons because the Police Chief said so, states, “Iranian police forces used tear gas to disperse protestors and there were also reports that they fired shots into the air.” If they don’t carry weapons, how did they fire shots in the air?? Even PressTV can’t get it right!! Ha, ha, ha!! Oh, I guess these were just “reports” by the eeevil Western media. Oh wait, they’re no longer allowed in Iran!! Oh, this is just too funny. And of course this is supposed to completely negate the countless videos showing security forces firing into the crowds… Yeah. How about this one, showing a Police car running over someone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6vXWXdIs0U&feature=related&skipcontrinter=1
Or this one, showing physicians and nurses at Rasoul Akram Hospital protesting the government’s brutal acts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyirzlCO-FA&feature=PlayList&p=7A80EC9F4C083901&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=11
Oh, that’s right, these videos are all just rich kid propaganda. I didn’t know nurses and doctors counted as “rich kids” in Iran… You sound like the Communists who tried to convince people the Berlin Wall was actually meant to keep OUT the Westerners! But you’re right, it’s hard for us to gauge what’s going on in Iran, given we can’t independently confirm anything the protesters say, as there’s no FOREIGN PRESS. If your mullahs are so right, what are they hiding? If they’re so popular, what are they so scared of???
“You don’t complain when the US gives free money to Egypt and Israel, when the US gives weapons to Saudi Arabia and Egypt and Israel, but you complain when Iran gives weapons to Hamas and Hezbollah….” Umm… Egypt, Saudi Arabia, don’t fire rockets indiscriminately at their neighbors, specifically targeting civilians… Even Israel doesn’t do this. When Israel does go to war, it certainly would be easier for them to kill the militants and not the civilians if only your panty-wearing allies wouldn’t use civilians as human shields.
“all traces of your indigenous culture was wiped out by the Spanish.” Shows how little you know about South America. Then again, it goes with how little you know about anything else. I any case, I am of European descent, 7th generation in Chile. So I could care less about the “indigenous” culture, dipshit.
In terms of Saddam, I don’t feel the need to defend every US act. Saddam was an asshole and the US shouldn’t have supported him. Then again the Ayatollah was an even greater asshole, who condoned the US Embassy attack, and called the US the “Great Satan” long before Bush ever got around to including Iran in the “Axis of Evil.”
“Also, who ever said that Iran wanted nuclear weapons?” Are you schizophrenic?? At least that would explain your lunatic rantings. Let’s see, who said Iran wanted nukes? Um… that would be… YOU!! Flashback: Post #43: “We will have our nuclear technology, and eventually our own nuclear weapon, and you won’t do a thing about it,” You dumbass cretin, can’t even get your own story straight.
“Who cares about the Baha’i” Yeah, that’s your response to all minorities, isn’t it? Who cares about them… Obviously YOU don’t, heartless cretin. No wonder you support your brutal mullahcracy.
“here is another source, two can play this game….http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5gF1EuNN8sLiITTlSMK2AEeuwxWJQ” Oh, great link, where the prosecutor asserts “they were arrested because they played a role in organising the Ashura protests and for having sent abroad pictures of the unrest.” OMG! They organized a protest and took photos!! They must be arrested!! What kind of sick judicial system do you have??? Then they were charged with having weapons. Yet your own source puts this allegation in doubt! Your own source supports my points!!! Are you so idiotic you thought I wouldn’t check the link?? You’re uniquely stupid, I’ll give you that.
“We are doing what we want in the world,” ha, ha, ha! Keep believing your own delusions! If that were true, why do you keep whining like little girls about the world being biased against you, and wanting to destroy you! Ha, ha, ha! You and your mullahs are a bunch of paranoid freaks. Oh, and make sure you have enough heating oil to last the winter, we wouldn’t want shortages like in 2007… Yeah, you are so going to be a superpower…
You keep going off how we in the West should shut up because we don’t know Iran. . But then you turn around and claim to be an authority on how the media in the West is biased. You suck, you’re nothing but a party tool. You may not be out beating the protestors (as far as I know) but your silence consents to their mistreatment. So yes, you are a government collaborator. Fool.
Your own government admits to mistreating protestors: http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/meast/01/10/iran.prison.report/index.html Quoting the Mehr News site: “147 detainees arrested July 9 suffered ‘harsh corporal punishment, humiliating and insulting techniques,’ and other mistreatment… ‘The deaths of some detainees were a result of beatings and neglect of the physical condition of the injured by the detention center’s officials.’” But according to you, nothing is happening. They’re just rich North Tehran kids -except they were also present in Qom, for the burial of Grand Ayatollah Hossein-Ali Montazeri… I guess they all just packed in the family car and drove, right?? Ha, ha,ha!
You yourself said only “rich kids” have regular access to the internet. So who are you? The snotty son of some government official? Living well at the expense of your people? A sad, pathetic piece of shit is what you are. And your self-hating Arab mother, I bet she’s done pretty well with your dad out there, groveling for the mullahs. Keep it up!
I bet you really do sleep well, which only shows how cold and heartless you really are. I don’t have to tell you to go to hell, because you’re already well on your way.
Every day I thank God that I was born on this side of the world, far away from crazies like yourself. And I will always feel sorry for your country, because it is a nation worthy of pity. It could’ve been great. Too bad idiots like you had to be born there.
I see Pajamas Media has selectively “censored” some of my comment. Here’s a watered down rehash of some of what’s missing, for S-Zealot.
“Apply that same principal to yourself. Who cares what some idiot chilean neocon thinks about the world?” Ummm… I never said I didn’t give a damn. But you did. Yet you can’t keep your mouth shut. It’s hilarious how you keep saying nobody cares what I say, when apparently YOU do, since you KEEP COMING BACK! Ha, ha, ha! You keep saying how insignificant I am, yet you can’t stop yourself from replying!! Ha, ha, ha! How does it feel to be drawn on and on by someone you consider insignificant!?!
“all traces of your indigenous culture was wiped out by the Spanish.” Shows how little you know about South America. Then again, it goes with how little you know about anything else. I any case, I am of European descent, 7th generation in Chile. So I could care less about the “indigenous” culture, idiot. True, they used to be persecuted, but we stopped that decades or centuries ago, unlike your backward government and you, who keep a medieval attitude towards minorities.
“Also, who ever said that Iran wanted nuclear weapons?” YOU did in post #43. This only shows what a liar you are.
If you can’t see or hear the protestors at night because you have your head so far up your arse, you probably can’t see or hear anything. In reality you’re full of crap, and too damn stupid to smell it, despite having your nose right next to it.
@72. Chileno:
“Every day I thank God that I was born on this side of the world, far away from crazies like yourself. And I will always feel sorry for your country, because it is a nation worthy of pity. It could’ve been great. Too bad idiots like you had to be born there.”
Dear Chileno, I am from the terrible Middle East, a native of Syria “rather I was” now I living in Poland (the Land of Holocaust).
Dear Chileno, PLEASE do not bother yourself with this sort of people or rather (Satans of Earth). Their minds are an fossilized, if not, it’s rancid and putrid. They do NOT want to become a part of the civilized free world. They do not want to change their disgusting terrible world. No doubt there are a lot and a lot in the Middle East such kind of stupid idiots who are extremely late, extremely fanatic, eager to death and martyrdom, and love to kissing the turbans and blood-stained hands of their oppressive Masters.
I really envy you, you are from a civilized free world, and you should thank God you was born there whether in Chile, Brazil or the U.S. or in anywhere of American continent. However, I am very much respect the people of Latin America, although the vast majority of them are poor people, but they are always are people of cheerful, happy, merry and peaceful, because their mentality is very positive and does not believe in Satanic thoughts.
