The lute was an exceedingly popular instrument in the 16th and 17th centuries, so most of the repertoire is from the Renaissance/early Baroque. J.S. Bach wrote for it, but it was going out of style by then. Use the above links to poke around on youtube, and you should be able to find lots of great music.
