Prager University is an online resource for knowledge and clarity. There are no fees, books, homework assignments, or grueling midterms here - just clear, life changing ideas from world-renowned thinkers. With short videos on political science, economics, history, religion and life, Prager University offers big ideas on big topics. Five minutes is all the time we need to communicate these important ideas. Just as a shot of espresso boosts your energy, a shot of Prager University boosts your brain. Because not only will you have more knowledge - you will have more clarity. If you're ready to grow intellectually, we're ready for you.
2) Teachers like ‘emo poetic writing’. Write a love scene -> Award. Write a sword fight -> expelled.
3) No, really, write a sword fight -> EXPELLED. The standard of behavior is the girl (who, on average, has a higher ‘maturity level’). The boys are then treated as defective girls. “Why can’t you sit still, all the girls are?!?” Statistics of discipline for boys. Zero tolerance has issues.
4) Death of recess. Boys have EXCESS ENERGY. Many energy-burning competitive games banned. Many recess moved from ‘unstructured’ to ‘structured’.(which, boys like less as a group, unless it’s -their- thing chosen. Which it isn’t). Statistics on ‘time in unstructured recess’ -> dramatic drop.
Can someone summarize the four points?
(No, I am not whining, because I live in a sub-culture where this does not apply for several reasons. But we are supposed to look out for the oppressed.)
Having said that, perhaps gender segregated classrooms could be a solution. In a 5th grade class, the girls could read Little Women; the boys can read Robinson Crusoe, or an RAH juvie.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who hates noisy, time consuming videos.
My observation is that the girls graduating from high school today are not as smart, strong, assertive or courageous as the girls from my day.
I think the problem isn't turning boys into girls but our young into Eloi.
Girls are born Eloi and from there they grow into reproductive Eloi-hood.
Let them fight. Today, we punish both participants in a fight. If we punish at all, it should be the one who started the fight.
Stop the propaganda. People are not equal – they are all different. Boy are interested in wars, guns and real history. Schools teach political correctness – distorted narratives discouraging patriotism, initiative, and competition. When girls are reading “Little Women,” boys should pick up “30 Seconds over Tokyo.”
Separate sports by gender. Girls may win in hop scotch or jump rope, but boys need to be short stops, pitchers, linebackers and quarterbacks.
Reverse the Zero Tolerance policy. The teacher, principal or administrator who punishes a student for chewing a pop tart into the shape of a gun, or depicting a battle on paper or pointing his finger at someone should be immediately suspended and charged with violating the student’s right to free speech.
