Tucker Carlson doesn’t want his son watching Oprah:

Over the weekend, Fox News host Tucker Carlson shared a personal decision he made to protect his young son: No more Oprah Winfrey. During a discussion about a father who decided to “break up” with rap music for the sake of his baby girl, Carlson said he did the same with Winfrey for his son.

“I know the feeling,” Carlson said, commiserating with the man who was fed up with the “misogyny” of rap music. “When I had a son, I stopped watching Oprah because it was just too anti-male, and I felt like I didn’t want to bring him up in a home where Oprah was constantly attacking men.”

Good for you, Tucker. Women like Oprah tend to treat men as foreign beings who are accessories to women at best and outright predators and perverts at worst. On the other hand, it might help to explain to a boy the psychological dynamics of what these women are doing so that he can learn to protect himself as he gets older. Or you can give him a copy of my book…

They'd do better to keep them out of public school.

The writer of this post was derelict in not asking why in the world Tucker Carson would be watching Oprah in the first place. Can anyone name a straight male who does?

Dads should keep all their children, boys and girls, away from daytime TV including the wretched Television Workshop productions like Sesame Street. It'll ruin their brains and cripple any thinking for themselves.

Greetings:

As much as I admire "Judge Judy" Scheinlein for her temerity in calling the leeches on our commonwealth to public task, she also harbors a bit of the anti-male virus. She of an age with Mr. Sterling, late of the Los Angeles Clippers, and those folks just haven't yet benefited from the proper indoctrination. I just wish Judge Judy would start saying "white males" so there wouldn't be any future brouhaha.

Men don't watch Oprah, so I don't know why this creature is worried about the anti-male aspect of it.

I was watching an episode of The Closer from season 2 last night. Brenda Lee had had a bad day and Fritz, her FBI beau, was trying to console her, but she would have none of it. Fritz says, "I was being sensitive. I thought you women liked that." Brenda Lee replies without missing a beat, "We don't. It's just something we say." Cracked me up. There was an article in the 80s in the Washingtonian that said pretty much the same thing, i.e., that the 60s and 70s feminist effort to remake men in their (perfect) image turned out to produce men that women were contemptuous of.
