The Ten Worst U.S. Purveyors of Antisemitism, #9: Willis Carto

Demented hate fuels a long, destructive life.

If Satan himself, with all of his super-human genius and diabolical ingenuity at his command, had tried to create a permanent disintegration and force for the destruction of the nations, he could have done no better than to invent the Jews.

Those words were written back in 1966 by Willis Carto, whom the Anti-Defamation League calls “one of the most influential American anti-Semitic propagandists of the past 50 years.”

Carto, born in 1926, is still going strong at 87, having devoted most of his adult life to hatred of Jews. It seems to have started sometime after Carto’s service in the U.S. Army during World War II, when he encountered a crank named Francis Parker Yockey.

Yockey, too, had served in the U.S. Army, but was medically discharged with a diagnosis of “dementia praecox, paranoid type.” In 1946 Yockey served as an assistant to the prosecution at the War Crimes Tribunal in Wiesbaden, but soon quit because he thought the Nazi defendants weren’t being treated fairly.

A couple of years later Yockey finished his magnum opus, a 600-page, racist and fascist, nearly-unintelligible treatise called Imperium: The Philosophy of History and Politics. Willis Carto, however, read it and was profoundly impressed, and later had his own publishing house reprint it.

In June 1960, Carto visited his mentor in a San Francisco jail where Yockey was being held for passport fraud. The visit didn’t seem to boost Yockey’s morale; a week later he swallowed cyanide and was done for.

Food for thought.

Justice Matthew Cooper who is Jewish, is convinced I am anti-Semitic. But, why would he conduct himself from the bench in such a way that would fuel anti-Semitism? Unless his outburst is an inspection of his own brain for his hatred of Gentile fathers of European decent.

Maybe he knows Jay Lefkowitz who said to The New York Times:

“Deep down, I believe that a little anti-Semitism is a good thing for the Jews – reminds them who they are" (New York Times Magazine, February 12, 1995 p. 65). These comments were made by Jay Lefkowitz, a lawyer, who served as President Bush’s Special Envoy for Human Rights. The fact that the comments originated with a lawyer is uncanny, but even more so because of his background and his status as a Special Envoy for Human Rights in North Korea. What the comments really demonstrate is that a desirable amount of anti-Semitism – Mr. Lefkowitz needs “a little anti-Semitism", not a lot – whenever absent, can and must be induced by provocation to perpetuate the cause for Jewish group stratagem.

Just thinking out loud.

Fanaticism is now mainstream in the legal community, that it is affecting my divorce case:
When a Judge (or the lawyers) loses his or her objectivity, then the truism applies:
Everything is religious, everything is political.

Justice Matthew F. Cooper: Sending me this about "The F--king Jews"
Mr. Santomauro: No, actually, it was the opposite of that. It was "F--k the Arabs" in the essay.
Sandra Schpoont (Attorney for my 11 year old son): Oh, that's better.
Steven Mandel (Attorney for my ex-wife): Oh, that's better.
Justice Matthew F. Cooper: Oh, that's better.

Letter from The Mandel Law Firm (Steven J. Mandel) 12-9-13

Justice Matthew F. Cooper: "Is that [Jewish] agenda to dilute the Aryan race?" On page 20:

The essay in question:
+The Myth of the Innocent Civilian

"Justice Matthew F. Cooper has distorted, invented or misremembered almost every significant claim and phrase. In particular, 'Jewish conspiracy' is completely false, in spirit and in word.

"It is serious and upsetting. Rather than correct a smear, Justice Cooper has attempted, perhaps not surprisingly, to justify one smear with another in the same direction.

"Michael Santomauro promotes the ideal of "scientific journalism" – where the underlaying evidence of all articles is available to the reader precisely in order to avoid these type of distortions. Michael Santomauro treasurse his strong Jewish support just as he treasures the support from pan-Arab democracy activists and others who share the hope for a just world." --I.S.

I have been in the past a subscriber to the spotlight, then the AFP, and I must say, other than some articles in books and occasional editorials, They are in their latest incarnation, mostly a conservative and patriotic bunch. Most of the topics are not so different than the subject matter in these pages. The influences of Vince Ryan and Willis Carto are much diminished of late, and the current editor is a fellow by the name of (Chris?) Petherick. They describe themselves as nationalist and populist. The ADL has long been at odds with The paper as well as the SPLC (we all know who they are). SPLC is at odds with nearly anyone who is an American patriot, and our government listens to everything they say as gospel...Needless to say, the complete staff of the SPLC is Jewish (coincidence?) led by Morris Dees, and his lieutenant Chaim Potok. That which seems to the uninformed as anti-semitism is not necessarily the correct assumption. I personally do not care what a person's ethnic background is (one of my best friends was a Jew from Philadelphia, son of a doctor.) There are far too many "coincidences" out there to not be attributed to a cultural separation/isolation. In the Talmud gentiles/goyim are referred to as cattle, and sub-human. One should read some of the writs. Some of it is pretty ugly...........Rant over.

If you do not care what person's ethnic background is (as you claim), why do you need to mention the staff of some organization is Jewish?

***Antisemites like Carto love and venerate the Nazis because they killed a lot of Jews, and would have killed all of them if not stopped. At the same time, antisemites still fear that the Holocaust fosters too much sympathy, and hence also power, for Jews; so they take up Holocaust denial.***

I note that radical left-wingers, disproportionately Jewish, sought to uproot and destroy a Christian civilization in Russia in the first half of the twentieth century, killing millions of Christians in the process. How is that the tens of millions of Christians killed by left-wing radicals are so much less important than the millions of Jews killed by right-wing radicals?

Probably, it is because killers of Russians were, mostly, Russian.

I wonder. Will we ever see an analysis of anti-WASP or or anti-Gentile prejudice among Jews on this site? Does Mr. Hornik believe that anti-Gentile prejudice among Jewish intellectuals and public figures is not a serious political and social problem? Generally speaking, the Jewish intelligentsia lean heavily left, and I find it hard to believe that this leftward tendency is not related to simple ethnic and religious prejudice. I would very much like to see a Jewish columnist or commentator on this site specifically address the political and social implications of anti-Gentile prejudice among Jews.

This is a good article but for the apparent attempt to smear Ron Paul just because Carto supported him.

Mr. Hornik, why are you writing these articles? Get real, there probably is a Marxist in the White House doing who knows what. One political party cheering him on. The supposed oppistion party that can't wait to attack its base in order to enable him. Increasingly we are seeing for lack of a better word home grown barbarians roaming the streets from Occupy to true criminals. Do you seriously want us to respond to some old bankrupt Neo-Nazi has been. If you want true Anti-Semities, I would high light what is going in Western Universities, and Western Governments, before I would parade these no bodies you are presenting.
