A New Lawsuit Against Sesame Street’s Kevin Clash
via Fourth accuser sues Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash.
A fourth accuser has come forward with a lawsuit against Sesame Street’s former Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash.
The unidentified man charges that when he was 16 or 17 in late 1995 or early 1996, he met Clash in Miami Beach. After subsequent phone calls, Clash “lured the boy to visit him in New York, with promises to pay for his plane ticket, be a ‘dad’ to him in New York and give him cash and a free place to stay,” according to an excerpt from the filing released by Miami-based attorney Jeff Herman. Herman also represents two of the three previous Clash accusers.
The offer appealed to the boy, “who was contemplating running away from home,” according to the suit, which was filed in Miami.

People have probably been doing crap like this as long as there has been crap. However the PC Left has come within a couple more faddist notions of civil rights into turning sordid behavior into redifining the new “nuclear family.”
Slippery slope: what was wrong yesterday may not be tomorrow. That’s progress according to a liberal. Liberal progress is a vacuum of morality.
Sesame Street has had the PC stink of “I’m okay, you’re okay, we’re all okay,” since its inception. There’s a difference between bad behavior and institutionalizing and mainstreaming it. Let’s not kid ourselves that there was no prostitution and vice when everyone was watching Doris Day or Mickey Rooney. But it was kept in its place.
I don’t know ANYONE who ever pretended that. But, yes, such vice was considered to be the cancerous blight on society that it is.
Judging by what Clash considers to be a “dad,” I think we’ve got a little window into his upbringing.
