Comedy Video: It Takes a Village to Make a Sandwich
When Obama says really dumb things like, “If you own a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else did that!”, I get really excited because he is revealing his true self and that self is at odds with most American’s sense of life — even among Democrats I would hope — but most especially I get excited because it’s comedy GOLD! Enjoy my latest Sunny TV episode where I play a clueless lefty.

Great video, Sunny. My favorite part is mentioning salt & pepper, and I really think salt & pepper should have more of a starring role next time. I mean, come on, what kind of a sandwich do you really have without salt & pepper?
I do have a question, though. Obama says that if I have a business, that I “didn’t build that.” Okay, fair enough. Obama is correct that I didn’t build the roads to it, or the car that takes me there every day, and I didn’t refine the gas I put in my car, or make the alarm clock that wakes me up every morning, or the clothes & shoes I wear, or the phone & computer I use, or the electric plant that generates the power I use, or the water treatment facility that provides water to my business – Obama’s right about all of that! I didn’t build any of those things, so I therefore didn’t build my business.
My question is that if I try to build a business, but I fail, like Solyndra, and millions of taxpayer dollars go down the tube with essentially nothing to show for it . . . . who did that???? By Obama-logic, since I didn’t build it if successful, then it’s only logical that I didn’t destroy it if it fails, either! Failure, then, must be the fault of government!
The left is trying to redefine common terminology, again. Generally when we say someone ‘builds a business’ we are referring to the person(s) who actually had the idea for the business, probably put a ton of their own money in it etc. By redefining this as something the community did it makes it much more palatable to tax, regulate and otherwise interfere in the operation of the business.
Another “red meat” artist trying to break in her act. Hmmmmm.
