Perfect casting for the villain from Sleeping Beauty?

Disney starts production of Angelina Jolie’s “Maleficent” in London – latimes.com:
Walt Disney Studios has begun filming its live-action fairy tale “Maleficent,” starring Angelina Jolie, in London.
Disney said Tuesday that production began last week on the movie, billed as the untold story of the villainess from the 1959 Disney classic “Sleeping Beauty.”
“The film reveals the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora,” stated a release from Disney.
Co-starring in the film are Sharlto Copley (“District 9″), Elle Fanning (“Super 8″), Sam Riley (“On the Road”), Imelda Staunton (“Vera Drake”), Miranda Richardson (“The Hours”),Juno Temple (“Atonement“) and Lesley Manville (“Secrets & Lies”).
Any casting that includes Angelina Jolie’s mouth is perfect casting.
Not that I don’t encourage showing the rest of her too.
For some reason, as a kid, I was more attracted to the “Malificent” character in “Sleeping Beauty” than I was to Aurora, the “Sleeping Beauty” – guess it’s the desire that some guys have for the “hawt bad girl”. I await the release of this movie with interest.
Angelina Jolie is a lying enemy propagandist who shills for Muslim interests in the Balkans.
All she has to do to play this demonic presence is to wash off her make-up and just be herself.
Sigh. I love fairy tales and Sleeping Beauty is my favorite. But I wish Hollywood would move on from the fairy tale villain is just misunderstood cliche. Reversing the hero and the villain is so old.
