Congratulations to Roger, and to everyone involved.
As they say in Latin, Mazel Tov. Many more.
Absolutely — I second that emotion.
Roger is a mensch, and a general, all around good guy too! Congratulations, Roger.
Well done, Roger.
I usually know from the trailer whether I want to see a film. I was positively disposed because of Roger’s involvement, but after seeing the trailer online I’m really intent on seeing the film. It looks like it’s a great story.
Unfortunately, living in NH I get to meet lots of Presidential candidates, but thinking-man’s movies are not so thick on the ground. I may have to wait for the DVD. I kind of hate doing that because I suspect that all the creative people who work so hard to bring us this entertainment get shorted, compared to how they’ll do if I see it in the theater. Maybe I’m wrong about the economics of the business.
Kevin, not to worry. I gather the DVD will be out relatively soon. To some extent you’re right about the creative people being shorted, but mostly it’s because the most attention is focused on films that do well theatrically. And for that you have to be in a lot of theaters – difficult for more serious movies of course.
