THERE ARE SOME SECTIONS OF THE BLOGOSPHERE I WOULD NOT ADVISE YOU TO INVADE: PayPal Apologizes to Pam Geller. But she’s still switching from PayPal to its competitor GPal. That’s earning GPal publicity that PayPal would probably rather not have given to a competitor, but that’s what happens when you treat your users badly.
UPDATE: Several readers write with variations on this message from reader Roger Baumgarten: “You’re dead-on accurate with your assessment: Until your post, I had never heard of GPal. Now, I’m on their website, and thinking that they might be my money-mover of FIRST resort.”
