Pro-Palestine Woman Threatens Bakersfield City Council Members to Their Faces

You know, I'm getting the feeling this riot season will be about Israel and Palestine rather than Antifa or Black Lives Matter, and this city council meeting in Bakersfield, Calif., seems to demonstrate my theory.

Why these cities seem to want to present ceasefire resolutions for a conflict that does not affect them is perplexing, but Bakersfield-area activist Riddhi Patel apparently did not think they were doing enough, because the City Council members "are all horrible human beings, and Jesus probably would have killed you Himself."

Nice violation of the Third Commandment there.

But she keeps going, saying, "As someone who has been an organizer for the past couple of years, that none of you care because you guys do not care about anything happening in Palestine or any other country where oppression occurs, because you do not care about the oppression occurring here."

Ma'am, this is a city council, not the United Nations. Resolving a centuries-long conflict is a bit beyond the scope of Bakersfield's problems.

Patel briefly diverts into something about 2,300 people in the city being evicted and the Hindu holiday of Chaita Navratri (which honors the goddess Shakti and her nine aspects, just to fill you in).

This is where it gets particularly insane because Patel says the holiday is celebrated in the global south, where people "believe in violent revolution against their oppressors. And I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you motherf*****s."

Yes, she actually threatened an entire city council with death to their faces.

And yet somehow people like Patel are the real victims here because "they [presumably the Bakersfield City Council] increase criminalization for no need other than you do not like when people come and hold you guys accountable for introducing ceasefire resolutions, because the only escalation in violence has been by you all," throwing in something about how security in the council building has beefed up considerably in the last five years.

Again, what does the city of Bakersfield have at all to do with the Israel-Hamas war an entire ocean away or how it is being fought? What point is this Riddhi Patel character trying to make? And why do you think they are beefing up security if you're coming in and openly threatening them with death?

The sanest thing Patel said in the entire rant was that "regardless of whether you elect people in office, they will backstab you, they will let you die." I would not have worded it exactly like that, but whatever validity of that statement immediately goes back into crazy town: "And for that reason, you guys want to criminalize us with metal detectors. We will see you at your house. We will murder you."

I know we here at PJ Media normally make fun of how easy criminals are let off out West and in other blue areas, but thankfully Patel was arrested as soon as she was done and charged with 16 felonies. If only we got to see that part on video.

Still, this latest incident of pro-Hamas protesters letting their intrusive thoughts win is what has convinced me the 2024 election cycle riots will be about the Israel-Hamas war.

We've already seen Hamza El Boudali openly say he wants Biden dead for supporting Israel, people harass Biden followers as "genocide supporters" in New York City, and others swarm in the Senate cafeteria building just this week.

Anyone propose a counter-wager?
