…It’s Origin and Purpose, Still a Total Mystery

January 9th, 2014 - 12:08 pm

Just NBC the “newsmen” who remain mystified! Baffled! Befuddled! By Mr. Obama and his aides. Here’s David Gregory, Tweeting today:

And from the eve of the 2008 presidential election, here’s NBC’s Tom Brokaw speaking with Charlie Rose (then with PBS, now with CBS), pretending that their own news departments had utterly failed both them and millions of American voters, and that they had no idea — not a clue! — what was going on inside the head of the man whose path to victory they had greased:

CHARLIE ROSE: I don’t know what Barack Obama’s worldview is.

TOM BROKAW: No, I don’t, either.

ROSE: I don’t know how he really sees where China is.

BROKAW: We don’t know a lot about Barack Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy.

ROSE: I don’t really know. And do we know anything about the people who are advising him?

BROKAW: Yeah, it’s an interesting question.

ROSE: He is principally known through his autobiography and through very aspirational (sic) speeches.

BROKAW: Two of them! I don’t know what books he’s read.

ROSE: What do we know about the heroes of Barack Obama?

BROKAW: There’s a lot about him we don’t know.

And even more that they were weren’t willing to ask, lest the American public find out what a bill of goods the networks had sold them.

“Obama Scores as Exotic Who Says Nothing,” leftwing Obama booster Froma Harrop wrote in Real Clear Politics seven years ago, on December 26, 2006, — and almost as if headline was a veiled suggestion to “eepkay uietqay about Obamayay,” the MSM have kept their ostrich heads submerged in the sand ever since.
