On Twitter’s Splash Page Today

While I was waiting in the dentist’s office today, the above image was on the Twitter splash page on my Android Galaxy tablet. Assuming it wasn’t an old shot cached by my tablet, that’s a curious image for today, isn’t it?

It’s one of Twitter’s stock, rotating photos from around the world. I’ve seen it several times over the course of several months while logging on.
Bing has a 9/11 Ground Zero tribute on its home page.
I’d tell you not to read too much into it… but I’d be wrong.
