But it’s not really a military action military action, as Whoopie would say. It’s a time-limited, scope-limited kinetic military action with our forces volunteered by others, and in some ways, how it turns out is not on our shoulders. Which makes it different. So it’s got that going for it, at least.

Meanwhile, Jim Geraghty looks like he’s going to need a bigger, likely infinite list, as the Professor’s War meets the bottomless memory of YouTube.

To Declare [Kinetic Military Action]

Like Yoo, Rivkin, and Casey, I am convinced that Obamacare’s individual mandate is unconstitutional.
But consider their other views on federal power. They’ve argued that the president can order up bombing raids without so much as a by-your-leave to Congress. As Yoo puts it, the president has the “right to start wars”, for good reasons, bad reasons, or no reason at all, presumably.
If the president suspects you’re a terrorist, he doesn’t need a warrant to tap your phone, and he can send soldiers to search your house without offending the Fourth Amendment. According to Yoo, he can ignore the federal statute prohibiting torture, and he can lock you up for the duration (forever?) of the war on terror without charges.
But there is one thing that he can never, ever do: he cannot penalize you for failure to purchase health insurance. Ours is a government of limited powers, you see.
Taken all in all, doesn’t that constitutional vision strike you as strange?

The man is as dense as granite, no self-awareness whatsoever. He could probably go out and make the same speech tonight and tell the world with a straight face his actions are perfectly consistent with what he said. He invents meaningless crap like “kinetic military action” to paper over the chasm between his words and his actions; only his dwindling supply of Kool-Aid drinkers and the Make-Believe-Media are convinced, but HE thinks his grasp of the “nuance” (i.e he believes his own bulls**t) has won the day. His lies are so stupid only an idiot (like himself) could believe them.
