“On the downside, CNN (-30%) fell more than any other cable network.”
Huh. A 30 percent drop in ratings? Can’t imagine why:

Sadly, much like Time and Newsweek owning the concession in dentists’ offices nationwide, CNN will likely own airport departure areas into perpetuity; yet another “joy” of modern aviation.

Update: It’s probably best for all concerned that no one is watching as CNN continues to beclown itself; Abu Nidal could not be reached for comment.

At least CNN is consistent.
CNN has admitted that it limited it’s coverage of atrocities committed by Saddam, so that they could continue getting good news access from the Saddam regime.
Now is that prostituting the news or what?
The tea party movement still needs some clear cogent voices. Since last summer’s events, a lot more big-government, authoritarian power grabs have become evident. The White House staff has fired several Inspectors General. The Attorney General appears to be playing defense against the constitutionalists – by his quashing of the trial of the Philadelphia Black Panthers for thuggish intimidation of voters. It’s business as usual for the crooked NGO called ACORN – floods of government money to its hundreds of concealed affiliates, and gatekeeping positions with the Community Reinvestment Act. The NEA has been co-opted as a propaganda agency, and the ‘Service Corps’ – Arts Corps, Music Corps – are wallowing in money to dole out to left-wing artists and musicians in praise of He Who Rules Us.
That’s just the beginning – I’ll leave the seizure of banks and auto companies by acceptance of poisoned TARP money to economists and lawyers who can explain how Chicago rules are not a good fit for business law. And how Interpol is now able to operate in the US as an entering wedge of the ICC…
At any rate, there are some awfully good cartoons circulating in ‘secondary’ media, about this administration of crooks and shysters, and they’ll appear at next years tea parties on nice tall poles.
While I agree with the anti-CNN sentiment because of its promotion of statism, the right loses credibility when it keeps supporting foreign interventions such as Iran and Afghanistan. If we really want to support liberty we need to oppose the statism of both the right and the left.
CNN will of course reap a huge bailout, on your credit card.
And “illegitimate” information brokers like “Faux” won’t get a dime.
Vangel,
“…the right loses credibility when it keeps supporting foreign interventions such as Iran and Afghanistan.”
And how is overthrowing medieval, chem-weaponized dictatorships bad for one’s credibility?
We’re breathlessly awaiting your answer.
#5 – Maybe you’re just high off your ass but the mullahs and Talis aren’t real proponents of individual liberty.
Personally, after being the unfortunate recipient of a Rick Sanchez siesta monolouge today, it’s no wonder why CNN is running downhill. His self-love knows no boundaries.
