Which reminds me of a question someone asked a few years ago about a blowhard on the right equally likely to shoot his own foot off than inflict ideological damage to the other side of the aisle. Back in 2003, Eric Scheie pondered cartoonish talk radio host Michael Savage and queried, if he’s “doing such a great job of making conservatives look bad, well, is it unreasonable to ask just who the hell he’s working for?”
