Tweets Of The Day

September 10, 2009 - 10:36 pm - by Ed Driscoll

Greg Pollowitz of NRO finds this item posted to Twitter by CNN’s Roland Martin:

And check me out at the top of the hour on CNN’s AC360. I’ll be discussing Rep. Joe Wilson w/Candy Crowley and a teabagger.

Doubtless he’ll be on AC360 to talk about the end of civility in politics today.

And Ken Shepherd of Newsbusters finds a telling Tweet from MSNBC’s David Shuster:

A half hour after wrapping up his on-air duties for the day, MSNBC’s David Shuster took to his Twitter account to insist that he is biased, in favor of the truth. Posted around 5:30 p.m. EDT to his Twitter account:

To all of the wing-nuts who are resorting to the usual tweets today: I am biased in favor of FACTS and biased against lies.

God bless the type first, engage the brain later nature of the Web — it’s been a boon to ending any pretense of the outdated mid-20th century model of  “journalistic objectivity.”
