Real Clear Politics has the YouTube clip of David Letterman’s latest top ten list, and notes:

While reading his top ten list Monday night, “Late Show” host David Letterman said Gov. Sarah Palin bought makeup from Bloomingdale’s to update her “slutty flight attendant” look. Palin was in New York over the weekend.

As Andrew Breitbart writes on Twitter, “Remember when I idolized Letterman? What a classless and joyless bastard.” He certainly has morphed into that, hasn’t he? Johnny at least knew when to retire before appearing sclerotic,  grumpy, and completely phoning his performances in.

Meanwhile, over at NBC, where Dave cut his teeth (and developed his political worldview?):

VH1 comedian Chuck Nice appeared on Tuesday’s “Today” show and compared Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to the sexually transmitted disease herpes. He mocked, “But, Sarah Palin to the GOP, this is what I’ve got to say, she is very much like herpes, she’s not going away.”

Today show host Matt Lauer is touting fellow GE employee Joe Scarborough as “the new face of the Republican party.” But why would the GOP take advice from a media that wears their collective hatred for them so visibly on their custom-tailored sleeves?
