Even as gas prices slowly creep back north,with this segment from Diane Sawyer, add ABC (presumably with the exception of token libertarian John Stossel) to the list from December of NBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, who’ve all asked President Obama to raise gasoline taxes to European-levels to punish American motorists.

The European “battle” against AGW, in particular the government attempts to unsuccessfully implement the Kyoto protocol, has had one outstanding consequence. They’ve managed to implement massive tax increases through fuel taxes without getting tarred and feathered, or in most cases, even kicked out of office.
By their fruits you will know them. AGW = big government tax scheme.
