Bea Arthur, the star of the legendary Star Wars Holiday Special has passed away at the age of 86. Perhaps the highest of 1970s television’s many, many classic and iconic moments, and long the shining star in the Lucasfilm oeuvre, Arthur’s pop culture immortality is assured. She may also be known by the two slightly lesser-known TV series, Maude and the Golden Girls.
