The Dallas Cowboys have released Terrell Owens, according to ESPN, Fox Sports.com, and the Dallas Morning News.

No word yet on which team the talented if high maintenance wide receiver will be inflicted upon next.

In other NFL news, Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals have agreed on a two-year, $23 million contract. Considering he took them to the Super Bowl, that’s not news–what is news is how close the deal between the once hapless Cards and the man who took them to remarkably unexpected heights came to not happening.
