CAIR-Michigan Leader: Jews Incurred the Wrath of Allah
It is a continuing outrage that CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations), an Islamic supremacist organization with deep ties to the Muslim Brotherhood (and particularly to Hamas, the Brotherhood’s Palestinian branch), is treated as if it were a “civil rights organization” — its top officials given media visibility and respectful attention by the commentariat and agencies of government. At the indispensable Investigative Project on Terrorism, Daniel E. Rogell has the latest: a May 25 “sermon” in which CAIR’s Dawud Walid rhetorically asks, “Who are those who incurred the wrath of Allah?” Then, he answered his own question: “They are the Jews, they are the Jews.”
As Rogell recounts, Walid is not just any CAIR mouthpiece. He is executive director of CAIR-Michigan, one of the racket’s most visible and active chapters. He is also a State Department favorite who travels abroad on the U.S. taxpayer’s dime as an exemplar of Islam and America — and uses the platform to slam America for (what else?) its purportedly discriminatory abuse of Muslims. [Memo to Secretary Clinton, former Secretary Rice, et al.: Aren't there already enough Muslim rabble-rousers overseas running down our country? Is it really necessary for a nation that's $17 trillion in debt to fund what Islamists are delighted to do free of charge?]
Walid has a history of Jew-bashing and of smearing critics of Islamic supremacist ideology as “Islamophobes.” He has championed a notoriously militant Detroit imam who died in a shoot-out with FBI agents in 2009. He even defends a historical atrocity — the Battle of the Trench in 627 AD — in which Jewish men were mass-murdered and their women and children taken into slavery. (As Daniel Pipes observes, many religious traditions have troubling episodes in their legacies that moderns rationalize as the happenstances of different times and mores. This CAIR official, by contrast, “is justifying the Islamic tradition of cold-blooded massacre of Jews,” as Dr. Pipes puts it, and suggesting that Muslims should not be shy about defending it.)

When the likes of Hoop and Keith Ellison D-MN do their poor mouthing routine, they don’t talk about the Holy Prophet’s order to “just kill every Jew in the country” or having his men build a campfire on the chest of Kinana, the Jew treasurer of the Jewish Banu Nadir to torture out from him where the treasury was, where the money was stashed which Mohammed wanted to know so he could steal it. Hoop and Keith won’t talk about how Kinana refused, and the fire burned through to the sand. But as I recall, the Holy Prophet knifed him to death several minutes before the fire went out. The Jews lost their land and were put on a forced march northward to the Holy Land.
I wonder how they got their money out? Kinana’s integrity would be a big part of that story.
As ex-Muslim Dr. Wafa Sultan has noted, the desert ethos out of which Islam emerged is one based on force and theft – force to defend one’s tribe against other tribes, theft to survive and acquire strength against one’s enemies. That an entire theology was built on such a foundation has been to our misfortune. In contrast, the Christians and Jews of Arabia at the time lived in settled communities that engaged in agriculture and trade – peaceful pursuits.
Even more interesting is the relationship that Obama has with the Muslim Brotherhood…

Paul, I live approx. 15 miles N/W of Dearborn.Dawud Walid is well known to anyone who can pick up a newspaper, as he’s always in one of them, oftimes both at once.
Any- and every-thing this guy does not like, instantly becomes *IslamoPhobia*, as he looks for the slightest pretext to ‘Play Victim’. His rallies are always sparsely attended and yet he is seen as a kind of ‘Jesse Jackson’ among a very few vocal Muslims, hereabouts. He was virtually everywhere when the Qur’an burning pastor was in town.
There are even occurances where he is given editorial space to blather his latest perceived injustice. Go to The Detroit News website and enter his name. He’s got a few diatribes to his credit, and none of them are very lucid.
If you’re insinuating that Muslims in Dearborn are Af.-Am. in nature,even a trifle, it’s not happenin’. Black Muslims/Nation Of Islam are their own sub-sect around here and the two rarely meet,if ever.
If CAIR has any malefactors in it, they are mighty few and not obvious.

If someone writes about black supremacism or white supremacism, you immediately understand what he’s talking about. Islamic supremacism captures perfectly what’s going on. “Islamicism” doesn’t convey it. These clowns seek ascendency over non-Muslims, pure and simple.
Pam Geller at Atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com reports today about New Jersey 9th Cong. Dist. election — Bill Pascrell (D) – defeating Steve Rothman (R) — based on Rothman’s Jewish ethnicity, in the growing Arab Muslim constituency.
Pascrell made Rothman’s Judaism and support of Israel the centerpiece of his campaign although Rothman attempted to focus on his congressional record.
“One side says,
‘We want this Jew out of office’
and, frankly, it’s pretty unsettling.” Ben Chouake, president of NORPAC, a pro-Israel political action committee based in Englewood Cliffs, told the Free Beacon.
“They emphasized [Rothman] is a Jewish congressman.”
This is much more than “unsettling” … something very terrible is beginning to happen here — (with little doubt supported by CAIR), and which, of course, the Media didn’t cover.
Even before googling this quote it was pretty obvious that the context was missing, and this would be a fair uncontroversial thing to have said in the context of any number of discussions about the old testament.
That business after the golden calf – that was “wrath”. Check the new testament for a few bits which claim that those who don’t follow jesus will incur god’s wrath. That would, presumably, include jews (I don’t actually believe in ANY of this stuff – but don’t pick on one guy just because he follows the rules of people who do, the give the rest a free pass)

Now, as for pipes and the rest – where do you guys get off, so appallingly and obviously misrepresenting people for political point-scoring? I know if doesn’t harm your credibility, because your readers don’t set the bar particularly high to begin with. But surely it must make it a LITTLE bit harder to sleep at night?
A reasonably well read person would not refer to Walid’s response to Pipes as contextual evidence concerning the original statement. In the sermon he is clearly referring to Jews in general as an accursed people responsible for the woes affecting the Muslim world using the Koran as evidence.
If he were referring to the Torah and the sin of the golden calf he would have a hard time ignoring the rest of the story when G-d also promises the land of Israel to the Jewish people (Deut. Ch 31).
You might have mentioned as well that though God was wrathful toward the Hebrews for worshiping the golden calf, it wasn’t because they were Hebrews or were unredeemable. It was conditioned by their behavior, not their Jewishness. Likewise, the condemnation of unbelievers in the New Testament didn’t require Christians, as a condition of being Christians in good standing, to take it upon themselves to bring the wrath of God down upon unbelievers (even though there were those who presumed to do just that at various times in Christian history.)

MatthewinCanberra is stupid. JohninOhio you set the record straight on that. Anyone with issues against God ends up saying stupid things. The Jews incurred Gods’ wrath on occasions – yes, but so did the nations who opposed them. They are Gods’ covenant people whom He loves and He will never cast them away. I believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah and God, and every true Christian owes the Jews a great debt, because it is out of them we got Jesus, and all people may now have salvation from our sins.

My point wasn’t “moral equivalency”, but that context matters. The comments that people have posted in response to mine have pretty much demonstrated my point. The quote that’s being used against the target of this smear is very obviously taken out of context. It’s a beat-up, and if this is the worst that the anti-muslim-deranged can come up with, then I have to wonder what all the fuss is about.

You’ve all gone very quite. It’s not usually like PJM’ers to be dissuaded by a few facts. Come on, guys – dissemble, distract, divert – start banging on about something entirely irrelevant!
God’s wrath, Matthew of Wherever, is directed toward all who refuse to trust, love and obey His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, Jn.3.16; ICor.16.22; Heb.5.9; not solely and specifically toward ethnic jews, like our Lord Jesus. If you will read Joshua 21 and 23 you will see that the land promise was fulfilled; then rescinded, due to Israeli disobedience. All of God’s promises to mankind are conditioned on our trust, love and obedience. He paid an awful price to redeem usfrom our sins, and so is perfectly just in His wrath when we reject Him in favor of evil.
It’s an ongoing battle to tell the truth in the face of that army of smug, self-righteous Christians who murdered so many millions of Jews and then have the nerve to point to Jewish suffering as a sign of Divine disfavor. If you were as serious about the Scriptures as you claim, you would know that God’s Covenant with the Jews is eternal. God’s wrath will also be visited on those mocking the suffering of His people. If you were as serious about the Scriptures as you claim, you would know that God promised Abraham that those who bless him will be blessed, and those who curse him will be cursed. These promises will not be “rescinded”.

Those “Christians” who murdered Jews were Catholics, and Catholicism is a politically inspired organisation right from its inception with Constantine. It motivated those killings for its own political ends. It has a religious “sugar-coating”-a study of its origins and history will reveal why no real Bible-Believing Christian church accepts Catholicism as Christian. You are right in what you say about anyone smugly pointing the finger at the Jews sufferings,it is true that God says, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” There were many in WWII who counted it a privilege to risk theirs and their familys’ lives to protect Jews.
That the Jews have survived as a nation throughout all satans strategies is testament to Gods’ enduring love of the Jews.
Really? Then tell me what were the Bishops who got their palaces burned and had to run for their lives during the “Crusade of the Poor” in First Crusade for trying to protect the Jews. What was that king of Castilia who before the crucial battle of Navas de Tolosa where he expected to be out numbered disbanded reinforcements cdoming from Northern Euriope because they were attacking the Jews? But is it me or is it amazing that a jewish population world wide that is last I looked under 50,000,000 is a threat to muslims with a population base that could be 20-30 times as many.
And then one must ask why are Jewish people successful, I know the stereotypes, and Muslims are still living in so many countries that seem so backward by comparison.
The West doesn’t know how to deal with Islam, a brutish, violent movement conflated with religion. Our heritage of religious tolerance, though most noble, blinds us to seeing Islam for what it really is. The Western religions have reformed their violent tendencies while Islam still revels in them. The US, with the help of the willfully blind liberals will go the way of Europe if it doesn’t wake up.
I have often told here that the First Amenement wouldn’t exiost in the form we know if the Founding Fathers had thought of the Aztecs or of Islam. They thought on an Americca populmated by differentr variants of Christians or, at best, assummed all religions abided to the Golden Rule and to “live and let live”.
But Isklam is a religion unlike any other: -It uis the only religion who is at war, a hot war with any other religion in the world. Not because of some misguided priest but in its fundamental bioiok. It ios the only religion who tells the faithful have special rights and are allowed to kill or enslave (including sexually) the unfaithful. It is the only religion who lets nothing outside the religious sphere thus making it incompatible with democracy atht assummes vote is not predetermined. It is the only religion who wants to conquer the world and plunder. Again that is in the fundamental texts and thoese texts cannot be cahnged becauise Muhammad is the last prophet, in fact the only one because abnnything said by Jewish prophets or by the Christ is distorted to make fit Muhammad’s message.
