    Dear Mr. Klavan,

I mean this as two serious questions about comedy, or the appropriateness of certain comedic statements in their contextx, and I take you as an valid authority. You can assume we are talking to, that is arguing with, Liberals. Bad Liberals.

One. If one is seriously arguing that if Londoners had guns and used them to protect their property the riots would have been less destructive is it inappropriate to add “add it cuts down on the number of ugly girls”.

Two, the last. If a liberal opponent to Governor Perry points out the he is a well heeled, bare knuckled, lying, conniving, machine politician (don’t ask me where Liberals get their Picturesque Caricatures from, I wouldn’t know)) is it appropriate to say “yes, but he is our well heeled, bare knuckled, lying, conniving, machine politician”?
