Final reactions: Trump did surprisingly well, which might stem the bleeding from the recent clip. His hits against Clinton really landed home, but he did not prevail overall on substance.
Neither candidate really won, as in the first debate. Most likely Clinton will be remembered as the winner, but a tattered winner at best.
One thing is certain: No one will want to watch these debates for fun in the future.

The second presidential debate begins at 9 p.m. tonight, and it is already shaping up to be quite a doozy. Infamously, footage from 2005 leaked showing Republican nominee Donald Trump speaking about sleeping with women, saying that he could “grab ’em by the p***y.” In the hours before the debate, Trump held a press conference with women who have accused former President Bill Clinton of sexually abusing them.
In short, the second debate looks likely to be a sex scandal showdown, focused less on policy and more on, well, something else that begins with p.
