Hillary Clinton appeared at a “Women for Women” event in New York Tuesday, where she once again blamed FBI Director James Comey for her devastating election defeat. She also mentioned “Russian Wikileaks” as a factor, but it is clear that her main beef continues to be with Comey.
“If the election had been on October 27, I would be your president,” she told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.
“I take absolute personal responsibility. I was the candidate, I was the person who was on the ballot. I am very aware of the challenges, the problems, the shortfalls that we had,” Clinton said, before adding that she was “on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey’s letter on October 28 and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me and got scared off.”
Clinton, who is currently writing a book that partly reflects on her 2016 loss, added, “The reason I believe we lost were the intervening events in the last 10 days.”
Barack Obama’s former speechwriter chimed in on Twitter to chastise the media for failing in its mission to get Hillary elected.

Apparently, no one at the event thought to ask her why she was being investigated by the FBI to begin with.
HINT: It was because she had opted to improperly use an unsecured email server to conduct official business because she wanted to avoid FOIA obligations. When more emails were discovered on Anthony Weiner’s laptop in October, the FBI had to reopen the case in order to make sure there wasn’t any more classified government information stored in the computer.
Weiner, of course, is the pervy husband of Clinton’s former top aide, Huma Abedin. He has been repeatedly caught sending lewd and sexually explicit text messages to other women — a habit which House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi once called “reprehensible” and “disrespectful of women.”
Clinton also blamed “misogyny” for her loss at the Woman to Woman event.
