Hillary Clinton Has 'Medical Episode' at 9/11 Memorial

Hillary Clinton suffered what is being described as a “medical episode” at the 9/11 memorial ceremony in lower Manhattan this morning, forcing her to cut her appearance short. A number of dignitaries, including presidential candidates Donald Trump and Clinton, were there for the ceremony commemorating 15 years since the 9/11 terror attacks. Fox News’ Rick Leventhal reported  that Clinton left unexpectedly because of “what appeared to be a medical episode.”

According to Leventhal’s law enforcement source who was standing fifteen feet away from Clinton, “she was standing on a curb with her protective detail waiting for her motorcade.”

They were surprised to see her because they were not supposed to be leaving yet. They had to wait for the motorcade for two or three minutes. When it finally showed up, my source said she stumbled off the curb — appeared to faint, lost one of her shoes that wound up underneath the van. Her protective detail, I’m told, helped her into that van, and then that van took off, presumably in the direction of a hospital. They grabbed her shoe and flagged down the rest of her detail. Her shoe was given to that detail who were following the other two vehicles, and they left Ground Zero early just moments ago.

This troubling episode underscores recent concerns that the Clinton campaign is not being transparent about the candidate’s health problems.

According to reports, the pool reporters following her on the campaign trail were prevented from leaving the media area after Clinton departed.

A campaign spokesman put out a statement saying that Clinton merely got “overheated” and went to her daughter’s apartment.

“Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just one hour and 30 minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen. During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better,” Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement.
