NRCC Follows Up Big Florida Victory with a Money Bomb

The National Republican Congressional Committee helped David Jolly overcome Democrat Alex Sink in FL-13 Tuesday, and the group isn’t resting on that laurel. While President Obama declares “I don’t have time to waste” before heading into meetings with Muppets and a former boy band idol, the campaign committee is firing up a money bomb to keep up the pressure on Democrats made vulnerable by Obama’s policies — especially Obamacare.

In an email today, the NRCC says “On the heels of last nights win, we’re launching a 24-hour money bomb to send a signal to national Democrats that we aren’t finished yet.” The NRCC says that it’s active on social media and targeted search ads to get the message out and sustain it.

The NRCC notes that its efforts in FL-13 paid off. It created an app to help out with absentee and early voting, which helped speed up voters’ lookup process. That app successfully delivered over 1,300 ballots in FL-13, which is nearly 40% of Jolly’s 3,417 margin of victory.

The NRCC’s money bomb is here.
