Well, in case we missed them over his decades at Vanity Fair, we now know one of three things about James Wolcott: 1. His mother is dead. 2. She doesn’t live in Florida or… 3. He hates her. Those are the only conclusions I could glean from his attempt to get attention for his new blog by telling us the “shocking” news he roots for the destructive power of hurricanes.
