Roger Stone, the veteran political strategist, said that anyone who votes for the impeachment of the president “would be endangering their own life.” He based this on the idea that “both sides are heavily armed” and that there would be a civil war. He told his TMZ interviewer: “I’m not advocating violence, but I’m predicting it.” But, less than 2 weeks after the death of Heather Heyer, it might not be the best idea to say that people who oppose the president will be killed. Not to mention the fact that Republican congressmen were shot at for their political beliefs this year. Trump supporters should figure out how to oppose impeachment without mentioning the threat of violence.
