WATCH the Paul Pelosi Attack Bodycam Footage, Break-in Video, and Hear the 9-1-1 Call

The police bodycam footage has been released:

“Hey guys,” Pelosi says once the door is opened.

“How you doin’?” an officer asks.

“How are ya?” Pelosi replies.

“What’s going on, man?” an officer asks.

“Everything’s good,” DePape insists.

The police remain outside but shine a flashlight inside the house, which is dark.

“Hi,” Pelosi says with a goofy grin.

“Drop the hammer,” the officer orders.

“Umm, nope,” DePape says.

At this point, DePape starts wrangling the hammer out of Pelosi’s grasp.

“Hey! Hey, hey, hey,” Pelosi says to DePape.

“What is going on here?” an officer asks, clearly confused at the situation. At that point, DePape manages to get the hammer away from Pelosi and attacks him with it. The police quickly rush in.

After watching the video, a few things have been cleared up. The police knocked on the door, which was closed at the time. After several seconds, the door was finally opened. It does appear that Paul Pelosi was the one who opened it. However, he was standing in the entry when the door opened and backed up slightly upon it opening all the way.

Contrary to some past reports, DePape is fully clothed. However, Pelosi appears to be wearing either a button-down shirt or a pajama top and boxers. Both Pelosi and his attacker are holding onto the hammer when the door opens. DePape appears to be holding it with his right hand and has his left hand on Pelosi’s wrist, while Pelosi is holding onto the hammer with his right hand.

Paul Pelosi also appears to be holding a bottle or can in his left hand. He does not appear to be in fear for his life and actually looks like he might be drunk or under the influence of some substance.

We also now have footage of DePape breaking into the Pelosi home, and audio of Pelosi’s 911 call.

These recordings have long been kept from the public. It wasn’t until several news organizations sued to get access to them that a judge finally allowed their release.
