Failure theater today: Facebook and Twitter execs to face questioning on Capitol Hill

Expect a whole lot of bluster and absolutely nothing else during a special performance of Failure Theater.

Day 2 of KavaNOPE

Yesterday did not disappoint for those of you following the KavaNOPE confirmation hearing: there were arrests, there were people screaming like mental patients, there was an aide making a secret nazi/white power symbol, (Seriously, people were trying to claim that one of Kavanaugh’s aides was giving a white power signal to the camera during the hearing. Crazy. ) There were repeated disturbances from senators. It was a spectacle. I only had it on for an hour or two because the interruptions were making me anxious.

The media was also excited to announce that Kavanaugh refused to shake the hand of a Parkland shooting victim’s father. I have a feeling he didn’t know who this gentleman was, but who cares because it makes a great story. Sure, there were people screaming like maniacs, so I don’t know why Mr. Kavanaugh would not want to touch some friendly, crazed strangers.

Last night an anti-Kavanaugh message was projected onto the SCOTUS building.

And of course, the Democrats were fundraising during the hearing. Literally, email blasts were going out trying to raise some money for their performances.

It was quite a spectacle to behold and it serves to remind us how well-coordinated the left is with their attacks. Get ready for another day of bad behavior and every time you hear a senator complain that they do not have all the documents needed to make a decision on Kavanaugh, remember they said they would vote against anyone Trump nominated for the job no matter what. They don’t really want more documents.

Bob Woodard wrote a book

And it’s everything you would expect and more. Whenever I hear about a book from a resistance media member with stories that play right into the narrative they’ve been pushing out to the public, I’m skeptical of it. Basically, Woodward is claiming that Trump is a lunatic, his aides had to take away all the sharp scissors in the West Wing, Trump was trying to eat paste… that kind of thing. Mattis, Dowd, and Kelly have denied making statements attributed to them in the book.
