Tonight, the president will tout “how far we’ve come in the past seven years,” according to the White House website. In a preview video for the speech, President Obama tells the American people that “this address will be for you.”

“Since I took office seven years ago, in the midst of crisis, I don’t think I have ever been more optimistic about a year ahead than I am right now,” he said in that video.

He’ll make his case to the American people…at least, those who choose to watch him tonight. So how optimistic are you feeling right now? PJ Media will be here to live-tweet the speech on our Twitter account (@PJMedia_com).

We’ll hear from him, but we also want to hear from you throughout the speech: Your thoughts, your reactions and more.
