If your child is anything like my 5-year-old, you have LEGOs all over your house! We build cars, houses, and epic villages from the tiny pieces and parts. Now LEGO is combining the nostalgic toy with one of the most classic, iconic bands of all time—The Beatles. The set will be a replica of none other than their yellow submarine.
The set is part of their division called “LEGO Ideas,” where fans of the toy can submit ideas of which sets they would like see made into reality. Lucky fans whose ideas generate enough votes and pass the review process have their ideas developed by LEGO. “The Big Bang Theory,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Doctor Who” are just a few of the sets that have made the grade.
The set will cost $59.99 and will be released on November 1, according to a blog post. There will be a mini Paul, John, Ringo, and George ready to take an adventure in their yellow submarine based off of the 1968 film of the same name. How cool is that? This set is sure to bring hours of enjoyment for children (and parents) alike!
