Google Deal Blocked in Russia

Russian regulators have scrapped an agreement between Google and Rambler Media based on regulations designed to preserve market competition.  The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service struck down Google’s $140 Million purchase of online advertising firm ZAO Begun setting back Google’s expansion into the growing Russian market.  Observers worry that the move by authorities reflects international concerns surrounding a growing Google presence globally.
