Democrats, like their allies, the Islamists and the Communists, are incapable of actually building up prosperity. All their policies tend toward destruction and tyranny. So perhaps it is not all that surprising that almost two years after the Palisades fire, practically none of the victims who suffered a “total loss” have been able to return under the Newsom-Bass regime.
In the case of the Palisades and Eaton fires, there’s probably a combination of incompetence and outright malevolence ongoing to ensure that people cannot rebuild. The incompetence comes from all the people whom Democrats put in government positions who are not qualified and often just chosen because they are related to a politician or check off certain DEI characteristics. The malevolence comes from the fact that some globalists like Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) genuinely want to transform society and shift property ownership. It is no coincidence that Newsom wanted to build government housing on burned lots that used to be private property.
Spencer Pratt, who of course lost his beautiful home to the fires last year, commented in reaction to the report below, “We are just about at the 2 year mark since the fires and only 1% of fire survivors have returned. This is far and away the slowest fire recovery in state history. Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass should never be allowed to run anything ever again...not even a f*cking gelato stand.”

Interestingly, someone responded to state that in Democrat-run Hawaii, three years after the Lahaina fires, none of the commercial structures have been rebuilt. Supposedly, some commercial rebuilding just started this month, but with the amount of Democrat regulation, don’t expect it to finish anytime in the near future. Are you seeing the common denominator between Hawaii and California?
To all you commie freaks for whom I've become such a headache...this is why I do this. This is my parents coming home to see everything they'd lost because of your stupid commie leaders. Am I fucking up your little campaigns? Shouldn't have killed John Wick's dog. I had a good life, raising my boys, feeding hummingbirds. You stupid communists defunded our fire department, never maintained the brush on your government property, and you gave $750K raises to the morons who drained our reservoirs during fire season. Fuck. All. Of. You. I will never stop until every last communist is expelled from polite society.

For Our VIPs: Is the Rapper Fraudster Who Burned Money the Perfect Metaphor for America’s Bureaucracy?
In January of this year, a year after the Palisades fire, Newsom bragged about how he was investing in “affordable housing.” All that means is he is trying to ensure there are more people in taxpayer-subsidized housing. Meanwhile, the people who owned beautiful homes, successful businesses, and individualized acreage still have heaps of ashes and charred logs on their property.
California Democrats slow-rolled the rebuild at every turn until the Trump administration had to get involved to cut some of the red tape and force Democrats to make a pretense of caring about rebuilding. Now this year there were again devastating wildfires in Southern California and Democrats didn’t implement any of the fire prevention or fire response measures they should’ve used last year. Obviously, they are determined not to stop fiery destruction.
Newsom is hardly the only globalist who hates private property in this situation. C40 Cities lists Los Angeles as a member and specifically features Mayor Karen Bass’s name. If you don’t remember or haven’t heard of it, the C40 Cities coalition aims to end private car ownership, prevent most people from accessing air travel, and severely limit or eliminate meat consumption (always excepting the elites). Perhaps Bass, whose own brother sued her over the Palisades destruction, sees the fires as a way to expedite the globalist dystopia.
