In the latest report from woke LaLa Land, Chicago has a “scream club.” Because it’s not enough for leftists to stand on street corners and at ICE facilities shrieking and wailing, they need to get together for a sense of “community” as they scream in futile fury at life.
Obviously we are a divided country, and it’s all too easy to become infuriated at stupidity on social media or in government. That said, it’s a whole other kettle — or lake — of fish when you gather at your local body of water for the express purpose of screaming together like deranged banshees, as a new club in Chicago is doing. Apparently safe spaces were not enough.
Secret Chicago is promoting the nonsense:
There are a few places where one can truly scream. Because sometimes, we need to release our built-up emotions, but living in a city with over 2 million people makes public screaming generally frowned upon.
For good reason. If you’re in a car wreck or just broke your leg, screaming may be the appropriate and natural response. But if you’re just frustrated at life in general, part of growing up is learning how to deal with that without simply emoting at top volume in public.
Scream Club Chicago is a new event that convenes every Sunday at 7 p.m. on the North Avenue Beach pier. Participants breathe deeply and then collectively scream into the air over Lake Michigan.
Humans really do constantly find new ways of being silly. And the problem is, we have a powerful political party that spends massive amounts of effort encouraging people to behave like raving idiots, whether through “transgenderism,” rioting, social media nonsense, or any other of the myriad ways woke snowflakes inflict chaos on others while creating “safe spaces” for themselves.

That’s the paradox of leftism. The delicate flowers must not be forced to hear or see anything that they find offensive (which of course is very subjective), and no matter what or who offends the woke crazy person he is never to be considered the problem. Does someone think the term “black bears” is racist? Everyone who is sane is supposed to bow to his absurd demand to ditch the term. Meanwhile, however, the leftists can insult, obstruct, and even assault you to any extreme and you are not to fight back.
Thus Democrats say that “misgendering” a dude in a dress is akin to “genocide,” but torching buildings and police cars is “mostly peaceful protesting.” Hurling racial epithets at a conservative is justified, but every movie made before 2015 was probably racist or sexist or BOTH. Women are oppressed by men, except when the man is pretending to be a woman and playing female sports. Masculinity is toxic, except when the men are jihadis killing Jews. Statues and murals must all be torn down and defaced, except Pride murals and BLM plazas, because defacing those is an obvious hate crime meriting jail.
Leftists are Marxists, hence their ideology is irrational. Unfortunately, in spite of that, they manage to appeal to many Americans who are disgruntled, bitter, or easily manipulated. If there’s one thing the Democrat Party is good at, it’s playing on people’s worst emotions and weaknesses.
