The mass murdering, America-hating Chinese Communist Party (CCP) actually had a few cautious compliments for the Biden administration — just after it was revealed that Biden had been a contemptible coward in the face of Xi Jinping’s determination to seize Taiwan.
Taiwan is legitimate and democratic China. The CCP is a usurping tyranny, responsible for more deaths than any other individual or government in world history. But the CCP also has a modest little goal of dominating the whole world, and it wants to start by seizing Taiwan. It used to be, under Trump, that Taiwan could count on U.S. support against the Communist Chinese. Unfortunately, under Joe “China Cash” Biden, that situation has changed.
As PJ Media’s Stephen Green reported, at the recent Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference, “Xi told Biden point-blank that Beijing ‘will reunify Taiwan with mainland China but that the timing has not yet been decided.’ Xi also reportedly told Biden he would ‘prefer’ to take Taiwan peacefully but, hey, sometimes amphibious and airborne invasions on a scale not seen since World War II happen.” Yet Biden spewed happy talk about the meeting, including a claim that he and Xi had “some of the most constructive and productive discussions.” I’m not sure what’s productive about being arrogantly informed by your greatest enemy that he’s going to conquer your ally in spite of you, but then again I’m not a CCP puppet who received vast sums of money from China, like Ol’ Joe.
Meanwhile, CCP state propaganda outlet Global Times slightly toned down its "kill America" rhetoric in a couple of pieces after the Biden administration decided to resume military communications with the CCP. Because they’re only, you know, openly threatening to annihilate us in battle every other month or so. In the Dec. 22 piece, “China-US high-level military talk shows willingness to stabilize ties, manage risks despite persisting uncertainty,” the CCP was less vitriolic against the U.S. than usual. The piece did babble about how America should pretend Taiwan is already under CCP jurisdiction, but it used far more positive language about America than normal. Perhaps that’s because the Biden administration reportedly meekly agreed “to stabilize ties and manage risks, and avoid direct conflict and war.”
Another piece, published Dec. 23 (China time), was titled: “Chinese, US military talks a 'positive signal,' but this is just the first step: Global Times editorial.” Again, the CCP spewed lies about Taiwan, pretended it was all America’s fault that the “risk of direct military friction between China and the US has risen significantly,” and demanded yet more concessions, but the language was more flowery and insincerely optimistic than normal. “In any case, the military relationship between China and the US has taken an important step forward, and this progress is worth cherishing,” Global Times pronounced.
The CCP has not the least intention in the world of respecting U.S. sovereignty, which is why it runs illicit police stations in America, but what these articles tell us is that the Biden administration is shamelessly — or shamefully — pandering to our existential enemy at every opportunity.
